I Have seen people say it looses its stickiness. I found that the oil in dog hair stop it from being sticky after a few uses and rinses. I found that taking a toothbrush and some dish soap and scrubbing it lightly brings it back to new. I have been using it for 2 months and love it. You just need to take the time to keep it clean. I use to use the peel and stick rollers and they were used up very fast and cost a bunch.

I had to leave a review after seeing some of the negative comments\reviews.

First, this is not a "miracle product". It will not suck lint\hair off your clothes and it does require proper, yet easy, cleaning. Use hot or warm water and rub the lint\hair off.
Second, of course, it gets full. But not any sooner than a standard lint roller will.

We have 3 dogs in the house and an enormous amount of dog hair. We have had the Sticky Buddy for 2 months and I cannot complain. Yeah, you have to clean it a couple of times while rolling the sofa. But (if like my wife) you lint roll the furniture at least 3-4 times a week, standard lint rollers would cost you a small fortune.

I think as long as you are not expecting the "miracle product" and consider the amount of money you save over standard lint rollers, you will be happy.

I was hoping that this product would work, since it's a great idea. However, I quickly found that you can only do a few swipes with this thing before you have to wash it and wait for it to dry before you can use it again. So, to do a couch, you have to swipe and wash like 20 times. Also, the stickiness wears off after about 10 uses. Don't waste your money unless you only use this for clothing once a week.

With 4 cats (one long haired) and a dog with a double coat (Bernese Mountain Dog) this was a no brainer. It REALLY does work well. I love the comb that gathers all of the hair together when you brush your furniture with it too. Easy to use, easy to clean and yes, it just keeps right on picking up all of that hair! So glad I bought it!

*MY PERSONAL USE: I love this thing. I use this lint roller for almost all of my clothes when they come out of the dryer since I own mostly black clothes and they always come out covered in white lint. I keep the small one in my purse to use when I end up finding cat hair on myself (which I almost always do).
*USE ON CLOTHES: I can usually get a shirt done with one rinse off and one to two rinses with pants. The thing people forget is that this is to replace a wasteful paper lint roller. I get the same amount of lint removal with a paper roller as I do with this. The only difference is washing the roller instead of peeling a layer off.
*USE ON LARGER OBJECTS: If you're trying to use this on a large item like a sofa, I suggest getting a vacuum with a pet hair removal attachment. I have never heard of anyone using a traditional paper roller to get hair off a sofa, so I don't know why someone would use this to try the same thing. I have a six foot cat tree that my cat practically lives on. I tried using the pet hair attachment brush on my vacuum, but it couldn't really get into the corners of the cat tree. It went a year without me even trying to get any of the hair off. I had to wash the roller a good five or six times, but it looked like a completely different cat tree when I was done. I had a softball sized ball of hair by the time I was done just using the rubber fingers to get the hair out.
*STICKINESS RETENTION: You can't just run water over this thing and expect the lint to run off. It doesn't work like that. I put a squirt of hand soap on my dry hand and rub it on the dirty roller DRY. Rotate the roller so you've touched everything. It doesn't have to be coated. Rub the roller again under running water. Everything falls off.

I really though this was going to be a good product based on all the reviews. But i was sadly mistaken. The Sticky buddy lost its stickiness in the first use. I followed the instructions to make it sticky again but it didn't work. The plastic is so cheap it broke the second time i tried to use it. The little sticky buddy in the other hand works so I don't know if i had bad luck in getting the only one that didn't work for me. I'm scared to buy another one and try it again. I would not buy this product.

There is nothing better than these! Seriously, not wasteful and they last forever. Just do not use hot water to clean them, if you do tha you melt the outside and it looses the stickey. Light warm is perfect and all of the debri goes toward the end. It is quite lovely!

Doesn't remain sticky long enough to even get a few dog hairs off of the sofa. It's inconvenient to have to wash it and let it dry when I can't even run it over one piece of furniture before it's done. It's barely sticky at all after maybe 10 uses total. Don't waste your money.
