About the Author

May Woodworth weaves her many years working and volunteering for family strength and women's empowerment organizations in Sticky Girls: Why Women Stay in Bad Relationships, her first non-fiction book. She is the published author of some sixteen romance novels written under a pen name. May earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Endicott College in Massachusetts. After college, she pursued careers in social service, as a preschool teacher, and a certified lactation counselor. May took time out of her busy schedule to also raise an adventurous family, exposing them to the wonders of New England through all the seasons. She now lives in the countryside outside of Boston, Massachusetts where she started a small farm with her husband. May welcomes friendly comments, personal insights, and good energy.
