Most definitely recommended. Cannot wait for book 4.
While it is book 3 in the series, it is a stand alone novel - however, it is so good that you'll want to read them all. I'm already looking forward to the next book in the series.
Thank you, Lucy, for another wonderful story.
WOW! That sums it up pretty well!! Absolutely the best Madison Cruz book so far! Marvelously hilarious and full of fun.
Madison is still trying to break out in an acting gig but gets stuck in a mixup between two completely different gigs that her agent put together. Jen had a stripping gig and Madison had a Marilyn Monroe gig. Guess who got what? In the ensuing aftermath Madison got to know some great people at a high-end restaurant called Plutos. And her connection might help her neighbors niece, Crystal, with her speed dating business that she’s trying to sell.
Meanwhile Madison is still trying to figure guys out and not doing very good at it. With her mom and grandma trying to hook her up can she even get a beginning of a relationship? She has one man who loves her, but can’t handle her job. One man who isn’t willing to deal with his past with his rich parents, and one whom is engaged? Seriously! Could it get any stranger?
Well we ARE talking about Madson now aren’t we! I love Ms. Carols characters and how she makes you feel like you know them. Her descriptions are so vivid and colorful. You really KNOW Madison. How she feels, what she likes, who her friends are. Its like you’re there. Intense!
You won't be able to WAIT to see why its named stiff competition hehe.
The only thing I didn't really like was that Madison really isn't part of figuring out what happened to the chef, Tobias Stavros, until the very very end. I was hoping she'd be a bit more involved in the mystery.
CAN not wait for book 4!
