Product Description

Keith's self-titled 5th solo album catapulted him into R&B royalty; featuring such hits as "Twisted" and "Nobody," it dominated the charts, the radio and video outlets for well over a year. Now, riding the wave of LSG's double platinum success, Keith has the momentum of a freight train as he releases his 6th solo album. The album's 1st single is the infectious "Come Get with Me," featuring Snoop Doggy Dogg - a likely crossover hit among harder leaning urban audiences. The title of Keith Sweat's sixth album (seventh, if you count LSG, his collaboration with Gerald Levert and Johnny Gill) might seem like a protest against encroaching commercial irrelevance--if not for the fact that Sweat has stayed a platinum seller for more than a decade. Still in the Game hews close to his proven subjects of love and sex at mid and slow tempos, with cameos by Snoop Dogg, Erick Sermon, Too Short, and Playa fitting into the Jeep-ready production surprisingly well. --Rickey Wright

The album "still in the game" is New,Soft, and Slow... not one of his best but I'm sure alot of people will love it. The song "Rumors" "Can we make love" and "Love Jones" wit/2 short, playa,Erick Sermon are off Da Hook.. then there is "Come and get with me" w/Snoop are already a hit....Everyone go out and buy the album!

This is keith sweats 3rd best album after make it last forever(his best album), and keith sweat self titled. It was mostly overlooked due to the fact it came out after his best selling album keith sweat, but to me this is almost just as good. Songs like can we make love, i'm not ready, just another day, and in your eyes alone are better than any RnB songs out today. Keith Sweat has not made another great album since this one which is one of his last true gems so do not hesitate to pick this one up to add to your RnB collection. This CD is still on heavy rotation for me even all the way in 2015! Classic

After delivering his excllent self titled disc two years prior , Keith Sweat returned with Still in the Game. Sweat is still capable of making decent records a decade into his career. He knows the secret of a good slow-groove album: seduction on the most intimate of levels and this is apparent on the tracks In Your Eyes,Rumors and Can We Make Love. Sweat also throws a cool sexuality in his grooves and moves. And on the opening "Come and Get with Me," Sweat (with a little help from Snoop Dogg) spins R&B hip-hop into a wondrous orbit.

Over the years Keith Sweat has been for the most part consistent with each release of albums there were a couple that wasnt up to Par.. but he has bounced back stronger each time .. This is no exception with what i think is his finest album to date .. The sound has been retooled for more harder edge RnB with hip hop in the mix.. It works well for him.. so if you like to just cruise have something in the ride to cruise to this is it..

Along with his previous five CD's and various other projects Keith has done it again. With little or no promotion over here in the UK ardent Sweat fans as myself have to keep our ears to the ground to discover if any new material is coming out, cause we know it would be brill!!, with just one concert over here in the last five years at The Brixton Academy (I also attended the one at the Labbatts Apollo in '94), excellent renditions of Keiths new songs were performed (especially the opening 'rumors'), and not forgetting old favourites such as 'I want her'. What can I say? Keiths whole performance was mindblowing. Come back soon Keith, and give us some more!!!

Keith Sweats best CD and one of the best R&B CDs I've ever listened to. I thought that "Keith Sweat" was Keiths last CD in 1996. I didn't think he could overcome the rising R&B stars like Usher and Ginuwine. But I was very wrong. Keith has adjusted to the changes in R&B the past few years (such as including popular rappers in his songs) and this CD proves it. The rising stars can't and won't ever be able to match the quality of this CD. This is one of the best R&B CDs of all time.
