About the Author
Kim Harnes learned to read at the age of two and never looked back. Growing up as an avid lover of horror novels, campfire stories, and the obsession with ghost towns and cemeteries, it only made sense that her own writing would incorporate the paranormal, the bizarre, and the unexplained. She is an award-winning songwriter, an Active member of the SCBWI, and currently lives with her family and numerous pets in Sparks, Nevada.

I'm not going to tell you. YOU need to read this book and enjoy the freefall like I did.
Twisting, turning, dark, but what I'm calling a happy ending.
There are a couple of things I look for in the books I read: a good story and great writing. Still Photo has them both in spades. The characters were not lost in the mystery. I cared about them all: Jess, Brody (Jess's hunky boyfriend), her kindhearted father and evil absent mother (well maybe I didn't care about her, but I hated her, so that's something), and myriad others. That the author was able to keep the reader engaged until the clues started coming took skill. It was important that the plot develop slowly. The twists and turns in this read were startling right up to the end where . . . (whoops!) NO SPOILERS! I will be watching anxiously for Kim's next book!
P.S. The only negative thing about this book was the title. I thought it was going to be a book on photography until I saw the cover.
