That said, I wouldn't wanna speak poorly of any of the works of Tolle. He's a good teacher, and I appreciate this message. I find his original work to be the best by far, though A New Earth is definitely very close to Power of Now. This is the weakest of those three, but I actually might find myself appreciating it. Sometimes you just need a quick little kick in the pants. Or a meditation point. Or there's that one thing you want to be reminded of. This is like the Cliff's Notes version of his books. And that's certainly got its function! Four stars, for me... but as a supplement to Power of Now/ New Earth.
I certainly wouldn't call Ekhart Tolle evil. I think labeling any human being as evil is misguided. Evil forces are out there, they are real, and they have created misguided "teachers" like Ekhart Tolle who will only lead his followers away from the true Light of the world.
Having been rescued at last by God from this man and others who misled me (poor willing cow that I was) into believing that what they are selling is some kind of "ultimate truth". All the talk of "enlightenment" that they serve up will only lead a person down one of many wrongs path, and away from the one true God.
All this said, it was my destiny to fall into the traps set by so-called teachers like Mr. Tolle. It was part of my journey towards the one true God and his Son, Jesus Christ. Sadly, Mr. Tolle actually mentions Jesus in one of his books and in the same breath talks about Buddha. What a waste of spiritual energy.
I wanted to burn the books I got from him but they are too thick. I could not with a clear conscious sell his books to a used bookstore. So in the recycling bin they go.

Great for listening on walks whilst appreciating nature.
