I Stole His Car is an amazing new book by one of my all-time favorite authors, Jessica Frances. Ms. Frances’ books are always entertaining and I have yet to find one I didn’t love. I Stole His Car is no exception…..in fact, I dare say that this is quite possibly my favorite that she has written to date. Looking back, I seem to think that with every new release she has, but the level of growth and maturity as an author is clearly evident this time around and everything was perfect. This newest release has everything I crave - romance, suspense and drama, all neatly tied up in an intriguing and riveting story line that left me excited for the next installment of this new series.
I Stole His Car is a romantic suspense and is different from the author’s previous works, but it is a great example of how diversified Ms. Frances can be with her talent. Her ability to draw the reader into the story and being able to visualize everything going on and connecting with the characters makes for an engaging and fascinating reading experience. I savored every single word in this story and it kept me engrossed until the very end.
This intriguing stand alone is a must read for any fan of romantic suspense and one that I would highly recommend.

This is the story of Ava, felon in the making, and Zander, her accidental victim. Ava finds herself in a pretty scary situation involving her ex boyfriend. She doesn't have any friends or family that could help, no car, phone or money that could not be traced. So she makes the decision to steal a car in order to get away. Except that she steals the wrong car, and she ends up returning it. I actually found that part cute and a little funny. Zander decides to help her our against his better judgement, especially after seeing how his 12-year-old brother takes a liking to Ava and he is acting like a normal little boy for the first time since their parents died months before. Things get pretty intense in a few places and I seriously held my breath couple of times. I knew we would get a happy ending, but I didn't want any of the good guys to die for it LOL
All in all, I liked Ava and Zander's story a lot. And I loved both their interaction with Van, Zander's little brother. I also loved the ending, it was very sweet, but somewhat rushed. The one thing that I did not like at all was the fact that we only got Ava's POV throughout the entire book. We didn't get a chance to dive into Zander's psyche at all, and I think that would have made the entire experience so much better.
It is refreshing having a new storyline in a book and not having to read the same thing over again. The kid in this book is brilliantly written with the perfect amount of kid sass gonna have to say my favorite part of the book. I could not put this book down and can not wait for the next book to come out! Jessica Frances you are my spirit animal!
