The Iron Sled Motorcycle Club members were crude, vicious, drug running thugs. Lead by a brutal cruel Wolf shifter. They made a practice of luring in young runways, using these unfortunate gullible teens and young adults ruthlessly, then selling them to the highest bidder. In the case of our young Omega main character he was verbally, emotionally, and mentally abused, but the MC Leader was keeping him untouched for a special auction.
Luckily for this Omega, the Alpha leader of the generous donors of the Kodiak MC of Grizzly Bears learned about him and felt that overwhelming attraction that is limited to fated mates. Then the scheming began to get him away from his kidnapper & captors, without incurring the extreme wrath of the Iron Sled Wolf MC.
This is definitely an erotic romance, the big Grizzly Bear wants to do what he can for the beautiful innocent young man. He is prepared to be as gentle as he can with his "Human" mate. This book has some dark undertones. The main Omega character had lead a very sheltered, often abusive childhood. He'd been raised in a fundamentalist church / others saw it as a cult. There was so much he'd never been allowed to experience or even know about. It was nice when the author focused on the Omega's experiencing things for their first time.
This is an exciting beginning to a new series. Can't wait until the next one is released. Though mpregnancies occur, they are off screen.
