King Karim is being pressured to pick a bride, so he holds a ball for all the eligible princesses. He thinks he might have settle, instead of finding true love like his parents. As fate would have it, he spots Princess Giselle in the crowd. He's falls for her instantly. Giselle lives out in the middle of nowhere with a father who isn't very social Her mother abandoned her, her sisters married off as soon as they could, and her brother is running his own kingdom. Since her parents had her late in life, she's lonely and sheltered. The ball is her first time leaving home. She meets Karim, not knowing he's the king. She fall for him, but a jealous friend tries to ruin their budding relationship.
** Warning** This book and the series, like all the ones before, are over the top insta-love romances. If that is not your thing, DO NOT READ. I still see reviewers who complain about Riley's writing style, when she warns readers in her book descriptions. If insta-love short stories aren't your thing, just don't read it. You're leaving the author a bad review, when you knew you weren't going to like it.
Once Karim & Giselle “Gigi” get pass a bit of misunderstanding and take the time to talk. They learn that what they have will not be denied & they are destined.
Alexa Riley has done an amazing job with the Princess series – I totally love her stories of insta-love with OTT Alphas out to claim their love interest. Another great read!!
This books starts with sex and then builds from there.
Karim is the typical OTT Alpha who will do whatever it takes to get his queen.
Giselle is the naive virgin who's been cooped up in her father's kingdom and finally getting to experience the world outside.
I want to me a KING!!
Giselle is adorable.... I love her choice of shoes with her dress!!
King Karim is so freaking yummie!!!
Alexa Riley please continue with the Princess stories.
King Karim stopped at nothing when it came to Giselle. I love how possessive yet caring he was when it came to his Princess. Karim loved her outlook on life and never wanted her to change her view points the way her family did. That's what sold me hook line and sinker. Giselle has been sheltered her whole life and being King Karim will take some getting used to. The couple were very opposite of each other but like the old saying goes. I loved how Giselle found her confidence with Karim and in return Karim found happiness he lost after his parents died.
The Fairytale Shifter Series by this author was my favorite and they have now been bumped to number two on the list. I have fallen head over heels in love with this series. These books are perfect after you have done some heavy reading and need a pick me up. Well done again Alexa Riley!
Abby is young and innocent. Karim is king and waiting for 'the one'.
When Abby walks in Karim knows he has found her.
Abby is as slippery as an eel and Karim has his work cut out for him.
Get the book! It's worth it.
