This is a short book. It can be easily read inside of fifteen minutes, if you don’t count the time taken up in chortling from one of Keith’s witticisms. It is true to what the other reviews have indicated, there are empty spaces and illustrations to fill the pages.
But consider. This is still one of the KR compilations around and one of my favorites. Reason:
The quotations are current. The majority of the Richards quotations date after 2000. Since the quotations are relatively recent, they cover recent events, such as his humorous reactions to Jagger’s solo album, Goddess on the Doorstep, and Jagger’s knighthood. Other compilations may be larger or contain more quotes, such as the one where he said he never had a problem with drugs, only with police. Quotations such as these are well-known, we have heard or read them before, and those quotes, however classic they may be, is true “filler.”
The quotations emphasize his humor. Keith’s wisdom is intimately connected with his humor, because if there is any one person who has the right to look at the light side of life — indeed, one who should be glad to BE alive — well, it is Keith Richards.
He is one of a kind, and this collection is a fine look into this unique character.

You can read this little book in half an hour, but if you’re a fan of Keith Richards and his rather unique view on things, you’ll laugh out loud all the way through.

His wife ask him why he is lighting up another cigarette. Keith says, " Because the last one wasn't long enough."

Some fun and interesting quotes. Feels like the author harbored some resentments towards Keith though

Very witty one liners from the great man himself. Only problem with the book being - it was too short !! Read it in a half hour sitting and laughed my socks off - well done Keith if you ever get to read this !

Keef sacht, wie es ist...
Reviewed in Germany on September 10, 2012Verified Purchase
