Advanced penetrating microbond protection Maximum protection against all stains Makes cleaning stone easier Preserves natural look Water-based low-solids coating Interior & exterior Where to Use Natural stone such as marble, granite, limestone, slate, terrazzo, travertine & sandstone. Best suited for the most porous stone surfaces. Directions Always test in a small inconspicuous area with a 24-hour cure time to determine ease of application and desired results. Allow new grout installations to cure for a minimum of 72 hours prior to application. Make sure surface is clean, dry and free of waxes and coatings. Mask off and protect any baseboards or adjacent areas to avoid splashing and overspray onto surfaces not intended to be treated. Sealer may be applied to damp surfaces one hour after standing water has been removed. Liberally apply an even coat using a paint pad, low-pressure chemical-resistant sprayer, roller or brush. Allow sealer to penetrate the surface for 15-30 minutes. During this time, distribute excess over entire area to insure even penetration. Wipe entire surface thoroughly with clean dry towel. A second coat may be needed for porous, absorbent surfaces and should be applied 30-40 minutes after initial application as directed in steps 3-4. A minimum of 15 minutes after final application, wipe entire surface with a clean dry towel to remove any excess sealer. If needed, dampen white nylon pad with sealer to remove residue and dry again thoroughly with clean dry towel. A full cure is achieved after 24-72 hours; foot traffic may begin in 6-8 hours. Cover with red rosin paper, if foot traffic must resume before the recommended time periods have passed. Clean equipment with water. Size and Coverage - Pint: 25 - 150sq. ft. Expected Wear: 3-5 years on interior surfaces & 1-3 years on exterior surfaces.

It's a huge shower and took me about 2 hours to do it all, because I broke the project up into small sections. The instructions say to leave the product on for roughly 15 min, not letting it dry. So I felt it was the most manageable to do it in sections rather than keep track of what may or may not have dried. I also wiped off excess before it dried onto my glass tiles etc to avoid the film residue.
It *did not* turn my white grout a color which was something I worried about when choosing a sealer.
Not a strong smell. No complaints. I can't tell if it's doing anything. ... just blindly trusting that it did it's job.
We have about 100 square feet of countertop and backsplash, so this bottle had very little leftover, so don't skimp on the product if you have less square footage. This product says it will last 3 year between applications, and after all the buffing, my arms were pretty tired so I hope I don't have to do this again anytime soon.
I also liked the lack of smell. I purchased this with the deep cleaner and the daily cleaner, and they also smell ok. My wife, who is highly sensitive to smells didn't mind the smell at all. I have to disagree with one reviewer who said this made their counter so slick their cats slid on it. We haven't found it to be slick at all, and our cats have yet to slide (much to my disappointment). We did have to cover the counters with sheets for 24 hours to keep the cats off of it, otherwise it was completed in just a few hours.
So far no water has been able to penetrate, but we did have a very, very slight staining that buffed out where one of the cats threw up....so I guess it's holding it's own just fine!
Overall I am very disappointed with this product and am searching for something else to use, to at least stop etching marks from totally ruining my counters. Stay away from this product if you have honed marble.
