Wyrmspan
Build a cavernous sanctuary for dragons of all shapes and sizes!
You are a dracologist in the world of Wyrmspan, a place where dragons of all shapes, sizes, and colors roam the skies.
During a game of Wyrmspan, you will build a sanctuary for dragons. Over the course of the game, you will excavate new spaces in your sanctuary and entice dragons to live there, chaining together abilities and earning favor with the Dragon Guild.
Inspired by the mechanisms of Wingspan, Wyrmspan has unique elements which make it a standalone game (not compatible with Wingspan).

Wyrmspan
You are an amateur dracologist in the world of Wyrmspan, a place where dragons of all shapes, sizes, and colors roam the skies. Excavate a hidden labyrinth you recently unearthed on your land and entice these beautiful creatures to roost in the sanctuary of your caves.
Excavate Your Caves
Excavate the three caves on your Wyrmspan player mat with cave cards (75 unique caves options) to gain "when played" benefits, and create places for dragons.
Entice Dragons
Entice dragons (183 unique dragon options) - including tiny hatchlings - into your caves, adding abilities, extending your caves, and gaining end-game victory points.
Explore Your Caves
Explore your Crimson Cavern, Golden Grotto, or Amethyst Abyss to gain benefits unique to that cave and to the dragons living there.
Cache Resources
Some dragons allow for the ability to cache resources onto them, which is a way of dragon hoarding, and these resources earn you points at the end of the game.
Move on the Dragon Guild
Throughout the game, you will have the chance to advance along the dragon guild (4 different guilds, use 1 per game) which earn you a variety of benefits, including powerful bonuses each half cycle.
Win with the Most Points
Compete with other players for end-of-round goals (10 total tiles, each double sided). The winner at the end of the game is whomever has the most points across their player mat and in the guild.
Solo Mode
Wyrmspan also features a robust Automa solo mode, including a separate solo rulebook, 17 solo cards, and scoring indicators on goal tiles.

Very cool game
My family loves Wingspan. This game came out and my 10 year old convinced us to buy it, and we were NOT disappointed. It plays pretty similar to Wingspan with some variations. The complexity is raised about a level or two. There are added competitions, like a dragon guild you are trying to explore to gain resources. There is a DRAGON FACTS manual in this game, which is pretty awesome. It has some highlights and backstories of the dragons in the game. The gameplay time is similar to Wingspan and it follows the same turn style. My 10 year old could play Wingspan in his sleep, and like I said before, this game added a little more to the gameplay. But he quickly caught on and enjoyed it immensely. The quality of the boards and pieces and wonderful! I have zero complaints about this game. Anyone looking to add this to your collection will not be disappointed!

After thoroughly enjoying Wingspan we couldn’t wait to try Wyrmspan and we were not disappointed! It adds on wonderfully to the existing idea of Wingspan, with a bit more complexity and enjoyment. The book of dragon details was a lovely touch. So pleased!
