So far I love these. We haven't tried them out in the snow yet but I can tell they will be great. As a past preschool teacher I remembered winter layers being the toughest for toddlers. Now that I have a toddler of my own I wanted to avoid the bulky winter boots that are heavy or fall off because they never seem to actually fit. These let you quit the guessing game and make you feel 100% confident your kids feet are warm and comfy while they play in the cold and snow.

Love these! They fit over shoes easily and the two cinch cords allow for a good fit. When we tried regular boots my 1 yr old cried and collapsed to the floor, but when we tried these he happily walked and ran all over. They were great in the snow and kept him warm (we didn't use the liners, just shoes and warm socks inside).

Only complaint is that they are splitting at the seams on the feet. Not too surprising based on other reviews and my daughter was walking on gravel. They did what the were supposed to do however. My daughter could not/would not walk with her other snow boots on. She would just fall over. These were the solution, now she will walk in her other boots and loves the snow.

Live in Alaska, with a 13 month old walking daughter. These are quick on and off, warm, functional, and just too darn cute. Bought another pair for her daycare set. Totally worth the cost. They say that they can go over shoes, but I haven't found that necessary. I just put her in tights or socks, and in these with the insert. Seem to keep her warm down to 0-5 F. She needed a little time to adjust to walking in the bulk, but since they're warm enough with the inserts to have her outside without shoes on, she adjusted quickly. A must have if you are in northern climates with or without a walker. Work great for crawling, in a backpack, or on a sled too!

Don’t stay on!

Measured and purchased according to the size chart. Also bought wool liners. Tried them out today. My first clue that these wouldn’t work should have been in the house when he immediately kicked them off. Tried using them while hiking and carrying him in a carrier, but the boots came off repeatedly. Even tightened up to the point where I was worried about circulation.

Of course the return window has passed. I’ll try to mcguyver something to keep them on.

Maybe they work better for walking? But they sure didn’t work like I had hoped.

“Stay-on”?!

Let me start by saying I never write reviews in anything, but I can’t understand how these boots are well reviewed AND how they can be called”stay-on”?! I bought these for my then-12MO and they were his size... supposedly. They will NOT stay on his feet. Not then, not now. It’s been months since he’s been using them and he trips all over, his foot shuffles inside the boots and that end up coming off CONSTANTLY. I literally have to readjust them about 15 times in 5 minutes (not kidding) ruining all the fun for my child.

The only time they worked-ish was with shoes under the boots, but then they’re very difficult to take off.

Side note: I know they’re not supposed to be waterproof but his feet have been soaked through even in wet snow.

Anyway, these came highly recommended so I’m disappointed. Maybe I just don’t know how to put them on or something because it’s unreal. Save yourself $40 and do trash bags with a rubber band on top. Yes, it’s that bad.

- that they don't cut off circulation
- that they have robust bottoms
- that they should last for a while until ours is really walking outside
- they are easy to put on

The only problem is that we misplace them often ... might put bright color tape on them or something.

I have bought these boots for a 9 month old and had previously had a pair for a 2 year old. For a 9 month old they have been great they can slip on over top of other shoes or if you have the liner (which I do) then they keep babies feet nice and warm and they stay on baby’s feet better than pretty well any other warmer shoes that I had used (baby had small feet) so would highly recommend them for babies before they can walk. However for my 2 year old they basically did not get used. They were sort of like putting bulky grocery bags on their feet and my two year old who walked very well was awkward and clumsy so I wouldn’t recommend once they can walk. I did find them extremely expensive if you are buying the liners with them. I feel like they should be maybe 30 bucks with the liners included but at around 50 bucks for both u can buy a pretty nice pair of winter boots which would probably stay on fine.

Cute but clumsy design

I really wanted to like these but there are a number of problems with it:

-Even though stonz website says waterproof I always find my baby's socks wet after puddle jumping. Perhaps these are better for snow than Vancouver rain.
I think the rubberized bottom looks like it's coming apart from the fabric.
- I find the boot clumsily wide as they are basically wide ovals. This is fine but for some reason I find my baby stepping on the side of the shoe even when I cinch up the elastics.
- the elastic that cinches the ankle doesn't seem to hold my baby's heel. It seems to fall right out and then my baby trips

Otherwise an adorable boot that is very easy to get on and off and looks easy to clean. Also like the fleece lining and how baby doesn't necessarily need socks in slightly chilly weather.
Wish it worked out but it didnt. Will need to return.

EXCELLENT product. This is the only boot I have found tgat keeps my toddler warm and dry as well as comfortable when running around being active. I am so devestated to look for another style next year as they don't carry them in the next size up. Would also be great to offer in larger sizes for carious reasons including children with special needs. Highly recommend the product but wish they continued to make the product in other sizes. I as an adult would wear them as an Early Childhood Educator.
