AS easy to use as 1-2-3. Press on the bottom of the battery with your thumb to breach the locking tab, continue pushing the battery in the center opening, then twist out and pull battery out. No more Loose Batteries! Unique locking feature holds batteries firmly in place. Torison bars allow more flexibility and longer life of locking feature. "batteries not included"

I think a better design, though you couldn't remove each battery randomly, is a design like a magazine from a semi-automatic gun. It's easy to eject rounds from a magazine with one hand and it could be designed so that the batteries could be inserted in either direction so that you can hold you camera in one hand and drop the batteries directly into the battery compartment with the other.
I also have the cheap plastic 4 count battery snap containers and I do not like them as well. The storeacell is something I would feel 100% comfortable throwing in a backpack on the go.

Along came this caddy and it is such a simple yet brilliant idea. holding 12 batteries at a time means i only need one or two of these to supply a set of hungry flashes. I have a simple way of organising them, when they are discharged i turn them upside down so i can instantly see which are charged and which need charging which saves an enormous amount of time before a shoot trying to work out which need charging (previously i gave up and just recharged all of them which takes a considerable amount of wasted time)
In short I love these things, I have about 6 of these in both black and orange and would easily recommend them to everyone
I use a lot of rechargeable batteries (eneloop) and turn discharged batteries over before putting back in holder so can use this both for charged and discharged batteries :)
Because it holds 12 batteries its perfect for my wildlife cameras which take 12 batteries! So it glows and holds the batteries in place, and really well at that. Great product!
I must say initially I thought they were a little pricey compared to other battery storage things, but having tried both, this is well worth the money!
This brilliant pack keeps the batteries from discharging and leaking in your bag, its sturdy and secure, but the batteries are removed with ease.
People always give a glance when I bring this out and 9 times out of 10 will ask how they can get one too!
Highly recommend this
