Assembly was straightforward, taking about 1-1/2 hours, and amply eased by the clear, exact instructions and the line art drawings showing what-goes-where-and-how. The unit is made in the USA and it showed in the instructions, which excelled. Not the usual pigeon-English I've come across before in furniture like this, rather they're written in plain English and obviously were written by an English-speaking person. Refreshing!
At only two spots did I need another hand and that was when attaching the two doors to the cabinet, which lined up with each other without needing further adjustment. Otherwise, it's a one-person job. All the hardware was included and the all the screw holes and hardware fixing points lined up perfectly. Sauder's quality control is spot on.
All-in-all, a useful and pleasant looking piece of utility furniture. Oh, and it arrived a week early with no damage. What more can you ask for?
It was fairly easy to assemble for my husband and I (mostly him doing the work). It looks great and is so easy to move around, even with everything inside of it. The pockets on the doors also have removable separators to suit whatever you may want to put in them. I love that once it's all closed up, it looks decorative. It's a lot more sturdy than I thought it would be as well. Maybe I'll upgrade one day, but for now.. and for awhile, this will be perfect for me.

Once home you will have to assemble it yourself. This is sooooooo easy as this terrific company as made this possible by lettering and illustrating all parts. Keep the picture on the box it comes in for reference.
The one thing I found that made this process a breeze is a power screwdriver. You will also need a small hammer and a Phillips head screw driver.
You're going to be so proud of yourself when it's together. I really love mine. You will too.
I highly recommend this unit for the durability, the beauty, the design and the extremely low price.
Now I can tell you that the booklet will give you tha max wt limits for the shelves, tops, & the trays. I always like this info, however it does not give the wt limit for the bottom of the interior storage shelf. It does not show the dimensions, but I wrote them on the page that shows the wts. Although the photos show the cart being on a bare floor, we have carpeting where this is set up & the casters work well w/it. A nice piece of furniture & the total cost is less than buying a portable sewing table & storage for any sewing or craft items. Be sure to take your time when putting it together & breathe deeply before you become P.O.'d. I could have used 4-6 hands at times, but I did it by myself. All the pieces & parts arrived in the ctn. Everything was marked & 98% of the tags on the various pieces pulled off easily. They showed the size, name, & actual size illustration of each screw, hinge, handle, etc. They even showed the correct actual size of the Phillips screwdriver to use.Really nice.
