Great for storing skis, poles, paddles and fishing equipment.

Very sturdy construction, welds are not splattered on, and it's eay to install (drill, small bit, phillips, and a 1/2" socket). I have 2 adult sets of skis and poles on a fork. If needed your able to let the shelf down and turn the forks with minimal disassembly / reassembly. Ski bones are a good aid at keeping the bottoms from spreading apart. I used rubber bands until I find mine.

1 suggested improvement would be to coat the forks with a cushioning material. I haven't noticed any marks on the skis during the 1st week.

I also am using this to store my paddles and when I store the skis I'll hang my life jackets and fishing poles.

I definitely recomend this product 👍

This storage shelf has worked very well for us, handling 6 pair of skis and poles (3x XC, 3x DH), (5x) pair of boots, (1x) pair of snowshoes, and (4x) ski helmets. That's a crazy amount of stuff in a small space, I really like it.

The one issue I have is that the tips of the skis are noticeably squeezed together by the weight of the skis pulling down on the tips captured by the hanger arms. The larger Velcro wraps I have for the XC skis works well if I install them near the tips, because the hangers engage under the Velcro wrap, which is where the skis touch together anyway, and there is no deformation of the tips. I'm going to try to find some larger Velcro wraps that will do the exact same thing for our downhill skis.

Decent rack - hard to install

The mounting screws on the uprights are fitted in between the edges of the rack. The challenge is that with the mounting screws provided, the closeness of the edge precludes use of a socket on them for the final 3/4 of an inch of the install. I used 2 of the original bolts and tightened them bit by bit using a regular wrench (at an angle). I then substituted a lag bolt with a star driver for the other two. This allowed me to fit the lag bolt into the "groove" of the rack, yet tighten with a normal driver bit on my drill. The first 2 mounting screws took about 20 minutes each to wrestle (with cursing) in, the last 2 under a minute each. Now that its installed the rack is solid and appears well made. Not sure why they chose those mounting screws, but this should be an easy fix for the manufacturer

Easy to install...would like more spacing options

This was fairly easy to install but the 30-34 inch spacing limitation made it hard to find a spot in my garage to accommodate. Additionally, the washers were just slightly too big for the brackets so they had to get bent a bit in order to fully tighten down the lag screws.

Still, I am happy with the purchase and it has helped to declutter my garage.

It took a long time to mount on the wall, but when the project was done it looked and worked great! Holds six pairs of ski boots on top and all of our skis (and snowshoes and a backpack) as well. Would have given it full stars but the rack we got didn't have curved ends of the brackets like the picture showed and would help with holding things on the end of the bracket.
