About the Author
Julian Hosp was born on February 3rd 1986. He played as a professional basketball player in the Austrian Bundesliga Level 2 and 1 as a point guard for the Innsbruck Pilots during my early High School years in Innsbruck. From 2003 until 2004 Julian studied in the US at Nashville Christian School to improve his Basketball Skills. After he returned from the US to finish his studies in Austria, he decided to give up on his Basketball career when he realised the opportunities in kitesurfing that were just getting very popular. He became a professional kitesurfer for almost 10 years from 2004 until 2013. For most of his career he was among the Top15 in the world. In 2013 Julian became the author of the bestselling kitesurfing book called "Kite-Tricktionary" which is used today by most kitesurfing students around the world. During the age of 18 to 25 (from 2004 until 2013) he completed his medical studies at the Medical University of Innsbruck to become a Medical Doctor. He never really pursued this profession but became an entrepreneur and business owner instead. Today he owns several businesses online and offline, and he is living in Hong Kong at present stage. Travelling most of his time for his business ventures he pursues his passion for sports, public speaking and laser-focus drive non stop. For the most recent info, follow him on any Social Media and get connected.

Top customer reviews
- First, The author is young
- The writing is not 'The Best' in the genre
- This book is a result of many favorable lessons to one person which any other can 'wisely' incorporate in their lives
A four star review means that I like this book.
I really like it.
Especially for the experiences encountering sandwich.
This book is definitely an educative pass time
Well suitable for teachers
Definitely a hand tool to parents.
Wide usage with immediate effect.
Why a star less..?
The language is good but not 'That' gripping.
A professional writing would have helped in a big way
Buy it, read it, share it and most of all follow the advice that applies to your situation, I wish I was 60 years younger and could do that!!
While I recognized some of the concepts from other books, I also gleaned new information which will certainly aid my personal growth. 25 Stories draws on a broad range of concepts, such as the Pareto principle (80/20 rule), burning the boats, strength of mind, locking the doors, working smarter not harder, dream collages, the importance of the influence of the people around you, and lots of grit, or stick-to-itiveness. The reader follows the applications of these concepts through engrossing anecdotes from the author’s own life.
I do not agree with the 2-star reviewer whose opinion it was that the author is smug. Rather, he openly shares deeply personal and humiliating mistakes. The reviewer mentioned not making past the beginning of the book and thus disregards the book’s many plusses. After reading the entire book, I feel the author has every right to be proud of his achievements.
The ideal audience is likely young adults, although I believe anyone can benefit from applying its precepts. It was nice to read this on Kindle, as I was able to highlight important points while reading, which I then printed for review.
Looking forward to the next 25 stories… Thanks a million, Julian!
She also made him swim 10 laps for an ice cream cone.
And so on.
Today, Julian is a world-class athlete, serial entrepreneur, and now, successful author.
Discover how seemingly small and unimportant decisions have a huge and often unexpected impact on your life.
I love the format of this book - the stories are short, amusing, and powerfully relevant.
Particularly for parents (like myself), and entrepreneurs.
Some of my favorite stories were probably:
. The Tree story – Learning delayed gratification. (And what a way to do it?)
. The Swimming story – Ice cream as a reward (My kids swim - wonder If I can pull this one off?) :)
. The Sandwich story – Outselling the school cafeteria
. The SAT story – Studying the dictionary?! (Seriously.)
This is a great, easy read.
Julian is an inspiring young man...
I hope we get to hear a lot more from him,
and his motivational adventures.
Best of luck, with your next chapter in life, Mr. Hosp.
