Loved the characters. Each distinct and believable, especially the main character who is an attorney. This writer is well versed in the legal system and it shows. The author has an ability to write descriptions in a way that makes you really see what he's describing, whether a character, landscape, the weather or past events. The plot was sell developed and a real page turner to find out not only, "who done it" but if the hero overcomes all the obstacles thrown in his path. An excellent read. More from the author?
Jack Cameron's "The Storm Drain Murder" was hugely entertaining. Story builds tension as you wonder what misfortune will next befall the underdog hero (Jason Brinkman). Jack's imagination is revealed by his many unique characters who complicate Jason's life. I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel that the story clearly calls for.
Cameron draws you into the mystery from the very first page. He keeps you turning the pages as his believable small town characters with their rocky backgrounds and flawed personalities drop clues. A pleasure to read.
