Check out what you get with the Havoc mouse:
Gold plated usb connector with braided cord.
Grippy rubber coating.
Every button is programmable including the shift button (except scrolling).
LARGEST MOUSE FEET I have ever seen! Almost covers the entire bottom of the mouse.
Fat scroll wheel which I am in love with.
Omron switches which feel fantastic to click and the 8200 DPI sensor is great.
I really do love this mouse. It feels solid but not too heavy. Has some width to it but still fits my average hand in palm/claw/finger grip. Has great grip though you might not like how the right side where your ring and pinky finger sit is not rubberized. The fat scroll wheel is great but the scrolling click itself could be better. If you want to set up macros, it has great software for that including the Hold to Repeat function which is missing from all the new Logitech mice. The mouse feet on this will last forever, they are so huge (width not height).
Two complaints: Sensor DPI seemed off compared to my other mice by maybe 400 DPI. Also the LED settings give you a set list of 7 colors but Yellow shines Green and White shines Blue. This drove me crazy because my PC has yellow LEDs.
All in all this is a very premium mouse and I recommend it.
I have no complaints about this mouse, it works great with my fingertip grip, is light enough to not become troublesome over long sessions, and has a high enough DPI that I barely (talking millimeters) move my wrist (use mostly fingers) to move the mouse around my 1920x1080 resolution screen. I don't even have Windows 8.1 mouse sensitivity to 1:1 ratio (actual 8,200dpi, not slowed or sped up by Windows), it is one notch (5, instead of 6) below 1:1 ratio. Nothing like having room to spare :).
Oh and the fact it's a laser sensor is great since I now have a much cleaner looking setup without my mouse pad. No tracting issues, what so ever.
This mouse has exceeded my expectations. The drivers are unobtrusive, the feel of the mouse is really, really good. I have large hands and was concerned about the size. I can almost palm it, but I think it would suit a claw grip decently as well (my cousin plays with a claw grip and said he was considering getting this mouse after trying it.. he is currently using a Razer Death Adder). The lights look nice, the indicators are bright enough to see with just a glance, but not too bright to be a distraction. I love the rubber grip where the thumb sits. The smooth plastic where the pinky rests against does not bother me... in fact I think I like it. No mouse acceleration built in as well. Quite nice. The last think I think needs a mention is the entire underside of the mouse, which is nearly all covered in Teflon. Much better than 3 or 4 little patches of Teflon. I use this mouse on a SteelSeries QCK+ mousepad, and I have complete control.
I've had it for about two months now, and I came from 3 mice, a Razer Naga Hex, Logitech M500, and Logitech G700s. I've used numerous other Logitech, Microsoft and Razer mice previously (including the original Razer Boomslang) I like this CM Storm Havoc more than all of those.
The only thing I don't like is the shiny plastic on the right side. I don't really prefer my pinky to stick to the controller and this is kind of what the plastic does. If it's for visuals or grip I don't really know but I am not a fan of this stuff on mouses. I just use a piece of clear tape where my pinky goes and it feels fine. I wouldn't neg this mouse just for that but it's close. 4.5 stars rounding up.
The entirety of the product is absolutely very well made but that sticky plastic is just awful. Omron switches for the clickers and a nice laser as well. Braided cord is fairly thick and long and the software for me was a breeze, easily some of their better software for mice.

but thats my opinion other mice may suit you more, i highly recommend this mouse for anyone who wants to get into expert gaming as this mouse is highly contestable and works perfectly for normal desktop use (word, browsing the internet and after effects)
if you have big hands like me this mouse is perfect it works good with small handed people aswell.
overall this mouse feels sturdy it has very nice feel to the mouse the materials are not cheap and it is satisfying to click.
i love the customizability of this mouse for example i have my LED's red and i have customised the buttons so i have a rapid click function perfect for FPS's with semi auto weapons.
i love this mouse
A few niggles but nothing to worry about. Frankly one of my all time favourites among the other 70 odd gaming mice I have. It's fairly large so if you have tiny hands, maybe not for you otherwise check it out, it is good, really.
Note that as the mouse itself stores the button configs in memory, you don't need any software or drivers to use the mouse once it's been programmed.
Perhaps it's a little on the heavy side, and not for tiny hands.
Bought another the other day for my wife as I was getting frustrated watching her fight a rollerball mouse every day.
Needless to say she now thinks I'm a god, woot!
