The story is okay, the writing not as good. If I hadn't read the Gentry series i may have given this one a four star review. The author has talent but needs new ideas.
In fact, I wondered if this had been translated (sloppily) from a foreign language.
The publishers should be ashamed for releasing a book so poorly proof-read.
Additionally, the cover is misleading, as is the blurb. While the female protagonist has three different partners, it is always separate except for one very bland and rushed scene.
Character development is also poor.
Overall, a real shame to all involved.
Kayla is a young woman whose life is turned upside down by the presece of two men Darkness and Dreamer. They tell her that she is the one to bring the Stormkins back to greatness. They tell her about their magical abilities and tell her that she wont have to hide who she is. She travels back to Storm Provence as Queen. There she starts to come into her own and the guys with her.
As a firstbook in this series , I believe it to be a good one. There is not alot of sexuall scenes in this book and only one true menage in this book. I still couldn't put it down. I can't eait until the next book in the series to dee how she will have the characters develop.
