I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Come on! This was one crazy train of a tale I did not want to end!
So much emotional wreckage between Nick the #swoon worthy dangerous Russian ( whom I have to say I would want to save me, repeatedly ) and Storm the savvy, sassy women whose life gets intertwined with Nick's past.
I loved every millisecond of the molten lava passion between this insta- all duo and the wittiness thrown in the midst of some dark, suspenseful, nail-biting moments. I could have read about these two and their exploits all day!
Was well written with excellent characters, had me swiping pages frantically to find out what would happen on the next. Once again this fantastic author duo has blown me away with the creativity and unique storylines they give us!
An absolute pleasure to read, and will be going on my to be read again list!
5 +++ Stars!
I read an advanced copy of the Storm, any comments expressed are my own and voluntary.
He takes the young lady in, and from the condition of the boat she was on, she's in trouble and running from someone.
He respects the severity of the situation and nicknames her Storm.
Nick proposes a "don't ask don't tell policy," letting Storm warm up to him and tell her story at her own pace.
This is a change of pace for Nick, he's been alone for quite some time.
Having company is a new concept.
Having female company at that.
When trouble comes to his door looking for Storm, Nick send trouble on its way with a stern warning.
But trouble won't stay away.
And now Nick's past comes staring him in the face.
Nick left the "life" long ago.
He wanted to start a new life.
It was a difficult transition but he did it.
Now he's begun a new transition with Storm, but his past is putting that in jeopardy.
Family ties run deep, but love trumps all. Nick had a very unique set of skills and he's not afraid to use them!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book and was not compensated in any way.
