I grew up with the "little blue book" - The Story of Shrewsbury 1664 - 1964, so I think it was brilliant to write "The Story of Shrewsbury Revisited, 1965 - 2015" and to incorporate the old blue book.
"Revisited" gave me a good sense of the people, places and community spirit through the many biographies of notables past and present, facts about the town's inner workings and growth, providing an apt picture of this small, historic and charming community where I grew up. I also enjoyed all the photographs.
"Revisited" is a keepsake!

This is a gem of a book encapsulating the essence of a small town. Who are those people we see in the park or at town meetings? This book reveals the stellar and intriguing lives of many of the residents. The older section of the book has an extensive history of the founding of Shrewsbury more than 350 years ago. My only regret is that the margins are too narrow in the new part of the book.
