I read more paranormal, but this book's blurb caught my eye - along with the cover. It didn't disappoint either. From the first page I was sucked into this story of intrigue and sexual tension. The author's writing style is addicting and I adore that. All of the characters were captivating and held my attention. I can't wait until book two!
I thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Shaw's first book, Acts of Desperation so I was eager to read her next book. It did not disappoint! If you like your romance with a strong heroine, several hottie males, suspense, action and a good mystery to solve this book is for you! Can't wait for the next book. Ms. Shaw please write faster! Lol....
Not to give to much away but there were three potential heroes in this book. I liked them all at different times. I went back and forth about who I wanted her to end up with. At about a little over half way I knew who I wanted her with. She didn't end up with him, but there are three more books so I'm going to try to be patient and hope it happens in the next book. Hope we don't have to wait long. Fingers crossed. Funny how I'm ok with three heroes, but would have hated it if there had been more than one women involved. :/ It's a woman thing.
It was very well written. I was never bored. Never felt the need to skip anything. No TSTL moments. Can't wait for the next one.
