Thief extraordinaire Peyton Riske is hired for a very simple mission: Find an envelope aboard a Florida Senator’s yacht. With the envelop in hand, she’s caught before she can jump ship. The senator’s under a microscope after his nephew’s involvement with the murder of a prostitute. He orders the guards to do whatever it takes to make Peyton confess who hired her.

Undercover FBI agent Rhett Callahan’s assignment is at risk when a thief is found on board the Senator’s ship. When he’s ordered to kill Peyton, he’s forced to abandon his mission and get Peyton off the ship alive. A storm brews outside but it pales in comparison to the feisty, less-than-grateful strawberry-blonde.

The questions surrounding the Senator grow along with the body count. They race against time as danger closes in at every turn. The net of twisted killers is thick, tangling the web of deception tighter the closer they get to the truth. Keeping the information secure is as difficult as avoiding the temptation that blazes between them.

Great story

Peyton is a thief and has been hired to steal information from a senator. She sneaks on board his yacht but before she can get the letter, she’s caught. Rhett is a FBI agent and undercover as a bodyguard for the senator. When Rhett finds some of the other guards are about to rape her, he steps in. He is then instructed to find out who hired her and what she was supposed to steal but can’t do it. He must get her off the yacht and keep from blowing his cover. Rhett gets the rescue raft and get her off the ship and has to go with her when some of the bodyguards find him helping her escape. They get back to mainland but the other bodyguards have found out who she is and come after her. They end up working together to figure out why they are after her and who hired her. Can Peyton give up her criminal ways and find her happily ever after or will she keep going on her current path?
This is the third book in this series and by far my favorite. Plenty of action, sex, and suspense. A page turning, edge of your seat story. It’ll keep you guessing until the end.

I enjoyed reading this series so much! Pretty Thieves #1 was my first experience reading this author's work and she impressed me with the first book so much that I had to read the second and third books and they've just gotten better and better! This is Peyton's story and what a story she weaves. Everything I love in a romantic suspense is encapsulated in these books. Edge of your seat moments, steamy and sexy times, interesting multi-faceted, well developed characters and a plot that really makes you think. I loved these characters and I was sorry to see them go when I finished reading their stories. I'll be waiting patiently for the next release from this author! Another great read! Sizzling Chemistry and Tons of Action

Straight Shooter from Samantha Keith is the third and final book in the Pretty Little Thieves Series. It brings the same heat and fast-paced drama as the first two books, but for the first time, Keith writes a main character who doesn’t have past tied to a criminal past. On the contrary, Rhett Callahan is an FBI agent who views the world in strictly black and white terms.

That is, until he meets sexy thief Peyton Riske. Peyton is in the middle of a job when danger tosses her into the arms of Rhett, who’s working undercover. The two are from very different worlds. Worlds that are constantly at odds with each other.

Straight Shooter has the same sizzle and tension I’ve come to expect from Keith, but the internal struggle between Peyton and Rhett bring more depth and more drama. This may be my favorite book of hers yet. If you like a sexy thief, a hot cop struggling to do the right thing, and tons of action then this is a book you don’t want to pass on.

So I didn't know this was part of a trilogy, so I am not too sure If I am missing anything. However this book was a train ride, I mean we have suspense and action from the get go. So we meet Paeyton who is a thief and she is tasked with getting information from an envelope that is to be had by the senator, unfortunately Peyton is caught and tortured and almost raped- my heart was beating for her. Luckily Rhett saves her from that however Rhett is a FBI agent out to get info also..Who is good and who is bad..I tell you what you wont be bored.

This was the first book I read from the author and it was nonstop excitement. Peyton is a thief who was helping her friend steal something from a corrupt senator. She gets caught and the undercover FBI agent, Rhett, has to blow his cover to protect her. But it doesn’t end because the bad guys always seem one step ahead. How do they stop the bad guys from killing Peyton?

There are some really seriously disturbing parts (fair warning, I’m more of a rom com kind of girl so maybe my barometer for disturbing is low!) but this is a fast, interesting read. My only wish was that Peyton wasn’t always needing to be rescued- she does a bit of fighting of course but she always seemed to be in trouble. Overall, however, this was very enjoyable. Thanks to NetGalley for the early read!

Peyton is a thief helping out a friend but will soon find herself in too deep. With the help of Rhett, a hot FBI agent that blows his cover, they will have to fight to get ahead,
A book that packs a punch in a short but well thought out story. A great mix of romance and action that will have you wondering what's next. This book is part of a series but I feel that it could be read as a stand alone even though characters from the previous books are brought up.

Short, fast pace sexy romance with just enough action to keep suspense readers intrigued. Like all of Samantha Keith the stories move along fast pace than a choice or action a character does causes the whole story to come to a halt. The romance is steamy and takes over most of the short under 200 page book. The story is a stand alone novel. Reader will not need to play catch up from the other two books in the series.

Peyton boarded Senator Moretti's yacht with the intention of stealing information he had contained in an envelope. She ended up getting caught and held against her will. FBI Agent Rhett, who is working as a bodyguard, came to her rescue. Things didn't come easy for the two of them.
This book had me anticipating on whar would happen next. It was engaging from the beginning. You can expect to receive romance, action, and suspense.
