In true Richard C. Hale fashion, the twists and turns will lead you down a path, only to turn you around and lead you somewhere entirely different. This book was a real page-turner. Hard to put it down!
There are some new players introduced but you get to know them rather quickly as the character development is flawless. All except for the main character who has amnesia. He becomes a witness to a crime while also being the main suspect. Things keep taking a turn for the worse on their excursions all the while trying to figure out who he is & who committed the crime. The twists & turns in the story are all blended so well that afterwards you wonder how you didn't already know the entire time.
Well written as always with a pace that leaves you breathless. Great story!!
There are certain actions and phrases Mr. Hale over uses at times. For example, if a character cried one single tear again, I was gonna scream. A tad distracting to me, but it didn't stop my enjoyment of this book.
All I have to say is "come on April," so I can read the next story! !!

And the story has a nice continuity.
