With precise but descriptive words the author describes Supernatural events which occurred in the town of Revelstoke British Columbia ,many of which would scare me into moving to a different location.
This book serves up a platter of hors d'oeuvres each being a separate and sometimes exquisitely unexplainable event. For example, a little dog in a window. Trouble is, that canine had been hit by an automobile and had not been of this world for quite sometime . The sound of voices, the moving of furniture where there were no people present would unnerve all of us.
Driving down a road and then then losing all sense of time reminded me of the original X-Files.
The author gives thumbnail histories of the places, buildings and people in all of the eerie and unexplained events. He used the actual names whenever possible and always indicated when he did not.
This was well written , easily understandable and quite enjoyable. After reading this short but quite fascinating book, you might consider delving more into the bizarre and unexplainable world of things which go hump in the night.
If you really want a small sample of the author and his character, I suggest downloading the Darkness Radio app searching the archives for July 15 and listening to the third hour of the show.
This book is totally believable and thoughtful---The Canadian town of Revelstoke is the author's hometown and he is not a self-published amateur. All the creepy tales ring true---give this one a try. I promise you will enjoy it. Just as an aside, I never heard of the author before reading this book & I live very far from Canada (Texas) so no bias.
