I didn't find any errors in the book.
I really liked Maggie at first and her emotions were so real. I even understood her disbelief and short temper with Stafford. By half way through she was became detached to me. Not as a mother looking for her son but just as a character. I mean her emotions were there and all over the place and that's completely understandable. But things just felt weird and off. I no longer enjoyed reading her pov. Maybe it was the way that she treated Stafford and was constantly hurting him. Honestly the best parts of the book for me were when we had sweet seven year old Davie's pov.
Overall this wasn't bad at all and the writing was nice.
In this story Ms Boroughs tells of Calgary police woman Maggie Holmes, and her encounter with former FBI psychic Stafford Webb. How they meet. what they do together, and the psychological impact on each of them is told in a beautiful story set against Calgary, Alberta and the Northwest Territories. And then there is the intertwining of their relative pasts and the crime that brings them together, the abduction of Maggie's son Davie.
I really enjoyed this book, and I look forward to reading other of her stories.
