Well worth the money.

Paper has a nice visual grain, but is smooth to the touch and takes different pressures of shading very well.
Attached my first attempt at an eye, following a YouTube guide, there’s plenty of room for improvement, but that’s down to the “artist”, not the great quality, feel and colour of the paper.
Will be buying more once I fill this book up.

The cover tells you that this is 30% "post consumer fibre" (what will they think of next); the description in French is less dissimulatory - "...recyclees". I have nothing against recycled paper, quite the reverse, but it depends how it's made and what you want it for. I was expecting something corresponding more closely to MY idea of sketching paper - ie, without the fibres and not quite so toothy - hence the disappointment. "Medium surface" doesn't really tell you much.
That said, it works well for many purposes. Whilst Karisma and Derwent coloured pencils don't show up, especially in white, it works perfectly with Conte pastel pencils; but you will need a full range of soft graphite pencils to produce enough tonal variation (for my purposes anyway). However, its big plus is that it takes Kurecolour brush pens, Posca paint marker pens and Faber Castell Pitt artists pens without sideways bleeding, and this will surely please many.***
So, horses for courses...

***But I've just found out that the brush pens, watercolour and ink markers do bleed right through to the back - marking the page underneath ! So if you want to use wet media, a sheet of scrap is needed undeneath the sheet you are working on - or you can tear it out out via the convenient perforations.
I have tried tracking this paper down in the UK but could only find one supplier and they only sell books with 25 sheets for about the same price as I purchased this book of 50 sheets for.!!
Its not 100% clear on the Item page that this is coming from the USA, but the 3 week wait was worth it.
The paper is a very nice mid grey and comes in a very sturdy spiral bound pad. Each page is perforated for easy removal is needed.
For my needs the paper is great, its not super smooth but there is not as much texture as I was expecting. As a comparison its about the same as a Daler Rowney hard back sketch journal if you want to check one out at your local art shop.
I have done a few sketches today to test the paper and it stands up well. I mainly use B to 6B pencils then use a Fabber Polychrome white pencil to add high light.. I have all so used some Touch and promarker art pens as a test and was surprised to find that the pens don't appear to bleed, but of course you have to take into account the colours look dull on the grey paper, but there good as base colours for using coloured pencil on top.
Over all im very pleased with this purchase even with the wait, although the expected delivery date was set as the 2nd November it arrived today 21st October. Whether that will be the case next time I don't know ? But I will be ordering another pad this size and the bigger size too.

When you look closely at the paper its a fine mid tone grey with tiny brownish lines almost like hairs on the paper.
I use it to do life sketches when I am out and about, shame there arent more art books out there with grey paper, you would think we are asking too much?
I also have used a white pen in this book and it shows up great, especially as its smooth paper
