This is so much fun. My seven year old son used to take plastic straws and stick them together to make a long straw. And of course we ended up with water all over the place where the straws leaked. Now he has been able to created all kinds of fun staws to drink out of. He has even been able to mix drinks by putting straws in the two drinks and hooking them together to join as one straw to drink out of. We are able to watch the two drinks mix in the straws as he drinks. It's also very easy to clean. I store all the parts in a plastic ziploc storage container and my son can pull them out and create his own straw.

i bought 2 and made a super straw, but heads up on the whole suction needed when making straws longer thing... stupid science. ANYWAY i am 23, and i bought these for myself because i still act like im 11, it is to be noted, carbonated stuff does not work well with this straw, as they are kind of thin so when i tried with coke it was basically foam when it got to my mouth, that being said beer was semi ok with it and anything not carbonated works perfect. i tried a rum in 1 glass and a coke in the other and when the mixed the rum knocked the carbonation down a little so it worked better. i will be buying a few more packs because when my friends come over everyone likes to make silly straws for their drink and it makes marking glasses way more fun then those little glass charms.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the strong chemical smell on these straws. The smell is still very strong after both soaking them in hot water and running them through the dishwasher. I'm throwing them out, as I definitely don't want my sons drinking out of these.

It is just what it is described as. But somehow, very disappointing. This type of review is difficult because the product is what it says it is, but not what I expected. I know that sounds goofy, but did you ever read the product description and then when you saw it you thought "REALLY!? This is what I bought?" I can't fault it for not being straws that you assemble, it is, but the package is small and looks technical and uninteresting. The problem is mine of course, you can only make a straw so inviting, but still, in my imagination I expected so much more. I don't think my grandkids even opened it. Even though it's not for us, I couldn't give it less than 3 stars because its not misleading, it's just straws. I suggest it's overpriced for what you get. (BTW, it appears from the photo that the packaging has been redesigned since I purchased it, when it came in a little plastic bag, this looks like an improvement)

We saw these on-line and my oldest daughter thought they were cool, so I quietly bought a set and put them away til her birthday, she was stoked when she opened them and sent me pics of her enjoying two beverages through one straw while out with her friends celebrating!

Definitely a fun gift!

I have a 4 year old daughter who loves these straws. At every meal she loves to construct a different straw and comes up with some crazy creations. Very fun for kids and educational. The straws are well made and don't leak. Only downside is, it's a lot of small parts that can easily be washed down the drain, so you have to take care in cleaning them. But overall its an inexpensive toy and some great, creative, fun! Would make a great gift!

If you like funny straw shapes or want to be creative next time you're drinking chocolate milk than this straw is pretty good. You can basically do what ever you want with all the different attachments and connections. You can even "draw straws" because there are different lengths of straws. I will saw, they're a little hard to clean. Sometimes water or your chocolate milk will collect in some parts of the straws and the start to get a little funky. But, that is a risk i'm willing to sacrifice for fun straws. Because, when you think about it, who wants a straight straw?
