I was more than pleased to see he had written a second book. As with the first one, Mr. Silverberry’s writing talent shins strongly throughout the read.
The Stream takes us on a journey, not only the characters journey but our own personal journey. This is a book that will make you reflect upon your own life too as the author manages to deftly insert moments that often parallel moments in almost everyone’s life.
If you haven’t read Author Silverberry’s other book, I think after finishing this one, you’ll go back for it.
This book has a nice metaphysical twist to it that left me pondering well after I finished reading it.
This book is a true gem and I definitely recommend it.
The Prologue and Epilogue tie this creative tale into a wonderful story of inspired redemption. Everything in between is skillfully written with only the imagination and creativity that Silverberry brings to his fantasy novels.
I highly recommend “The Stream” AND his first book, “Wyndano's Cloak.”
I'm looking forward to his next book!
Silverberry is a superb storyteller with a gentle hand. I look forward to more from this wonderful author!
The Stream is a water-world into itself, where there’s no going upstream, or back to the past, if you will. The Stream carries a person forward, until it reaches the ocean, or infinity. Perhaps to Heaven, I thought at times while reading this wondrous tale.
The Stream provides both sustenance and death to those living off of the water in the exceptional world author A.R. Silverberry has created. It’s a demanding stream, filled with physical and emotional challenges. The story is also a great reminder of how the flow of life takes us where we may not necessarily wish to go.
If I were to base my take on this story via parallel, I would say it’s the honorable good verses evil premise, and how each lures us into either making mistakes in our daily lives, or being true to ourselves.
“The Stream gives back.” In my humble opinion, life gives us what we need, but only if you give back, either through thought, word, or deed. The Stream is a thought provoking, triumphant read, and one you won’t want to miss! I honor this book with five stars!
