From the manufacturer
Mounts directly to handguns with Glock-style rails and to all MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rails.
People who depend on their flashlights, often for their lives, need to be able to count on that flashlight to work. When it’s freezing cold, scorching hot, desert dry, or rainforest humid. When it’s been beat up, abused, dropped in water, or left in icy snow. They need to know that their flashlight will deliver the light they need for the task at hand. Whether it’s lighting up a whole room, throwing a beam way down a path or up to the sky, or reading a map without being seen. When size and run time are also part of the performance, people know they can trust Streamlight to shine brighter, work better, and last longer.
Streamlight 69265 TLR-2 HL G High Lumen Tactical Light with Green Aiming Laser
Includes keys for Glock-style, Picatinny, Beretta 90two, S&W 99/TSW, and lithium batteries.
The Streamlight 69265 TLR-2 HL G provides a blast of light for maximum illumination while clearing a room or searching an alley. The ultimate in target engagement enhancement, this rugged high lumen weapon light with integrated green laser fits most hand guns and long guns. This light/laser combo features a fast and tool-less rail clamp for rock solid repeatability on a wide variety of weapons. A tethered battery door and latch mechanism prevents battery door loss while providing easy battery replacement. Its best-in-class lumen output delivers an overpowering beam with extensive range, wide peripheral coverage and selectable strobe mode. The daylight visible green targeting laser uses the latest direct drive diode that burns brightly in extreme temperatures.

- Product Weight: 4.78-ounces with batteries.
C4 Technology Leaves Other LEDs in The Dark.
Powerful C4 LED technology, impervious to shock with a 50,000-hour lifetime, produces brilliant, powerful, blinding light that is brighter than a high-intensity LED. The Streamlight-engineered reflector creates an intense beam that pierces the darkness, providing long run times and the indestructability of an LED combined with an increased level of brightness that leaves other LEDs in the dark.
Light Source & Output:
800-Lumens; 15,000-candela; 245-meter beam; runs 1.5-hours (Laser/LED simultaneously). 510-530nm Direct drive green laser provides high-visibility long-range targeting. Laser-only function runs 17-hours.
Built to Last:
Durable, anodized aluminum construction; high impact, chemical-resistant polymer laser housing. High temperature, shock mounted, impact resistant Boro Float glass lens. Windage and elevation adjustment screws mounted in brass bushings for long life and dependable zero retention. Extensively live-fire tested impact resistant construction.
Ambidextrous momentary/steady On-Off switch. Three position Mode Selector switch: Laser only, LED Illumination only, both. User programmable strobe can be enabled/disabled.
- One handed snap-on & tighten interface keeps hands away from muzzle when attaching/detaching.
- Highly accurate sight repeatability when remounting.
- Operating temperature: -40°F to +120°F.
- IPX4 rated water-resistant.
- Includes 2 3V CR123 lithium batteries with a 10-year storage life.
- Serialized for positive identification.
The Streamlight 69265 TLR-2 HL G Tactical Light Includes the Following Keys:
This key fits Glock or 'universal' rails. These have a cross slot about 5/32-inch wide. The Standard system key appears somewhat thinner than the Picatinny key.
The 1913 key is wider than the standard key. Slots are 0.206-inch wide. Some guns with a Picatinny rail still need a standard key depending on the construction of the rail.
Smith & Wesson 99/TSW:
This key has the bar extended farther back than the other keys. They are for rails having a non-standard (too short) distance between the slot and the trigger guard.
This key looks like it has a Picatinny rail but dimensions are different.
M-Lights should not be used on the 90two and will fall off under recoil.
Full Compatibility List for Streamlight 69265 TLR-2 HL G Tactical Light:
90two- 90two key.
Cx4 Storm (carbine/rifle)- 1913 key.
Px4 Storm (pistol) - GL (Standard) key. note: M-lights are very loose.
Vertec - New polymer key- 1913; Older aluminum key – GL (Standard) Key.
P-01 - Should work with GL (Standard) key. (Not tested; based on similar European version).
5.7 (with Picatinny style rail) -1913 key.
Any with rails – GL (Standard) key. Cannot fit Glocks that are not equipped with factory rails.
USP (full size only) - use HK adapter 69085 with a GL (Standard) key. Compact size - use HK adapter 69091 with a GL (Standard) key.
HK P2000 (new) is supposed to have Picatinny rail.
HK P30 -1913 key.
Note: The rail tilts down slightly from the bore. This may result in laser zeroing difficulty closer than 50 feet (depending on the tolerances of the pistol and laser).
TLE RLII (1911 with rail) - Picatinny key.
KP345 - GL (Standard) key.
SR-9 - GL (Standard) key.
GSR or 1911 Style with flat bottom rail - Picatinny key.
Any aluminum frame SIG with a round bottom rail, including the P220R, P229R, etc.: The Sig round bottom rail departs from the true shape of both the 1913 and Universal standards and may cause an improper fit. The TLR will work with the 1913 key but there will be damage to the finish of both the gun and the light. The retaining screw must be tight.
Newer Sig P series guns are supposed to have a true Picatinny rail. This has not been verified by Streamlight.
SP2022 (Polymer frame): Same comments as for aluminum frames, except that the polymer frame is a little thicker and does not show marks from a clamp. Per SIG, use the 1913 key.
Smith & Wesson:
TSW and 99: the slot is too far back for the standard key and requires the special S&W key. There are many different models of TSW, but if it's a TSW with a rail, it uses the S&W key.
M&P Autoloader - Picatinny key.
Sigma - Cannot fit.
Operator (1911 with rail) - Picatinny key.
XD (4 & 5-inch barrels) - GL (Standard) key. Cannot fit 3inch barrel.
99 (New 2004 models): full size ones are nearly the same as the S&W 99 and use the S&W key. Older ones (no slot across the rail and the side grooves closed in front) cannot be fitted with a TLR.
99 Compact – Cannot fit. Rail is too short.
P22 – Cannot fit. Non-standard rail.

The TLR-2 HL G 800 Lumen IS AMAZING.
I was initially concerned about trying the green laser instead of red based on the fact that I read that green is better during the day and not as good at night. I have used a red laser before that was not a Streamlight. The green laser is not only good during the day but at night time is incredibly bright and can be seen for what seems like more than a mile. Wow!
Lastly for those of you who are wondering if you'll get splash back because of the 800 Lumen rating against light or white colored walls I have not found that to be the case at all and was very pleasantly surprised. Hope this helps you make informed choices.
Get it you won't be disappointed.
Two things that I am less fond of are the new controls. The M6X had a rotary dial for selecting OFF / WHITE LIGHT / LASER / WHITE LIGHT & LASER, whereas the TLR-2 has a tiny three-position toggle switch. There is no switch position to guard against accidental activation of the light, and while the switch is protected by a ridge surrounding it, the tip is still exposed and at risk of getting damaged. Also, the switch for activating the steady / momentary light is larger and longer (likely to help with use by gloved hands), but it also seems to flex and twist quite a bit.
Overall, it's a great tactical weapon light that I would not hesitate to recommend.
I also have Crimson Trace CMR-204, of which the mounts are mostly plastic, so for durability I think Streamlight TLR-2 HL is a better built. The only benefits of Crimson Trace CMR-204 are lighter, smaller and a little bit cheaper.
Unfortunately, I managed to break the Streamlight TLR-2 HL lens by dropping it. I did not want to go through the hassle of contacting Streamlight for warranty claim, and I am not even sure if it would be covered, so I found some sites that offer the lens assemblies for about $14, just google around and you will find it, if you run into the same problem as I have. I do wish Streamlight lens part are available at Amazon for TLR-2 HL.
The lumen brightness is so powerful that it is a "deterrent" itself. The strobe is not all that helpful to me BUT if you have a use for it, I can see it disorienting the target. Overall this is a safe and reliable yet highly effective product with about a 45 second install (on an MPX SIG SAUER). One handed functionality is a breeze.
5 stars plus!
