Being a big SF fan I've always wanted to get my hands on Alpha 3 since people say it's one of the best SF games. The sound, graphics, and gameplay are good but playing a fighting game like this with the PSP's control stick and even D-pad can be a little difficult when trying to perform special moves, combos, and inputs. If you have a PS2 then just get the Alpha Anthology.

Came with a clear box, no game art and just the game. I'm not sure if it is the game itself but it isn't reading memory card information. I'm not picky, I can easily download a cover art from online and put it on and being a fighting game, not worried about saving stuff. But the product is honestly meh.

I am a casual gamer these days, but was a rampant SFII fan in my teen years. I can recall the glory days of arcades and have fond memories of SFII on my SNES and Genesis.

This is an evolutions of the above-mentioned SFII. The same play mechanics are there, the same fun is there, and the same replay value is there. As the title of this review says, it is the first game I reach for when I pick up my PSP. I keep coming back to it because it is fun, has memprable characters, has great graphics and sound, and can be challenging as well.

This is a great addition to any fighting fan's library and is perfect for any fan of the Street Fighter II series.

If you like the classic Street Fighter gameplay then you will be right at home with Alpha 3. It has all the classic Street Fighter characters and also new characters. There are many mode like team battles, 2 on 1 or 1 on 2 battles, World Tour, tag team battles, and finally arcade mode. You can customize any characters by giving them different abilities like recharging hyper gauge etc.

My only complaint is that the controls might take some time to get use to especially the left shoulder button. I don't particularly like the new characters and there isn't an in game move list during Training mode so you have to go to the manual.

This is a classic and not as violent as other games that represent themselves with a dragon. I own this game but I had to order another one to play against my girlfriend who enjoys a good challange. Well this game has about everything the past street fighter games have plus extra cool moves. Its fun to go around the world fighting all the characters who stand for their nation; or what never gets old is playing against your friend, but as you may know youll need two of these puppies. "ENJOY"

Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX for the PSP is probably one of the most complete versions of Street Fighter Alpha 3 out of all iterations of the game.
It has a total of 39 characters, including Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Evolution, Yun (3rd Strike), Maki (Final Fight 2) and Eagle (original Street Fighter). No other Alpha 3 iteration has as many characters.

The game plays extremely well and feels right at home on the system. In my opinion, this is one of the best fighting games available for the PSP. I'd highly recommend picking this up!

If you like a classic 2d fighting game, you can't get wrong with this. Lots of characters and special combos to perform, ryu, ken, akuma and a whole cast of Fighters who can't wait to kick the snot out of each other. About The item was wrapped nicely, came in with the instruction manual. There are different options of playing, classic arcade, dramatic battle, r. Dramatic battle, or skip on ahead and fight the leader of shadaloo, the psycho power wielding megalomaniac M. Bison. Tons of replay value.
