Very misleading product description. The description clearly states that the product includes the season pass

PlayStation 4 Collector’s edition:

This special collector’s edition comes full loaded with digital comics, a hard bound art book, an over 9” tall Ryu statue, sporting his iconic Street Fighter V pose, and the Street Fighter V 2016 Season Pass. The 2016 Season Pass includes 6 DLC characters, their battle costumes, and colors 3-10 for both their default and battle costumes.

This is a $30 component which you are told is included but is then missing. Frustrating waste of time trying to get a definitive answer or someone to take responsibility for an inaccurate product description. Would have been better off buying the standard version

Not your typical cheap figure

This will be more of a review of the package in total rather than the game. But I will comment on both.

I bought this collector's edition solely because it was not terribly expensive! With prime discount for pre-orders I got the game for around $80 USD. It includes the game, some downloadable comics, soundtracks and a costume for Bison that's... decent, I suppose. It's not really much better than his usual costume. I never redeemed the codes for the other stuff and doubt many will, but I have the game and the figure so let me tell you about that...

This figure is HUGE. It comes in a few pieces: you plug the feet into the legs and the legs plug into the top half via the waist. It's SOLID, pretty heavy and supremely detailed for a pack-in bonus. Honestly, the figure is qualitative enough to be something I could see people buying externally just for how good it looks. I HIGHLY recommend this if you are a Ryu fan, a Street Fighter collector, or if you were on the fence about shelling out the extra dough.

The game? It's good. It's different but still good. It's nice to have a next-gen version of Street Fighter but it is guilty of all that people were saying of it. It's entirely bare for a new release, it has a weak and limited roster, the censorship of Mika infuriates me to no end, the shop JUST started working and now we can buy costumes, colors and characters- but it was too little, too late. I understand the game tanked in sales, but that's because word-of-mouth spreads fast. Casual fans I know were already bad-mouthing it off what they heard. But again- the game is NOT bad. It's fun, it's new and they changed it just enough to make you have to re-learn a lot of stuff. So, the game is worth a purchase, especially for for the fighting game community. However, I do recommend getting another controller- perhaps the Japanese Fight Commander?

Incomplete game. A severe lack of single player content; NO ARCADE MODE. The "story" mode is a pathetic imitation of Mortal Kombat's. You have to be signed into the server if you want to play. Low character roster. For the amount of money you paid for this lackluster game, the future character DLCs and stages should have been free. SFV is basically a promotion for the capcom pro tour. Capcom claims that the game is designed with competition in mind, great, but the majority of street fighter players aren't in the fighting game community, in fact, many enjoy playing the arcade mode.The fighting game community is defending this game voraciously by justifying the lack of content as being part of the game's design, don't believe the lies, they have do whatever it takes to keep their live streams, tournaments and sponorships profitable. The multiplayer is also broken as it takes quite a long time to get a match going. Do not buy this. Keep playing Ultra SFIV, it's a much better game.

Not a Consumer-Friendly Game

The microtransactions in this game are priced like it's a F2P. Capcom claims the characters and costumes and stages are earnable through gameplay. However, that is not realistic as it would take an unreasonable amount of time. Over 70+ hours to unlock one character — assuming you complete every weekly mission, win every extra battle(a gambling mode where you play the CPU), and win every online match.

Even the costume colors are ridiculous to earn. Each character gets two default colors for every costume with the rest being rewarded for beating the multiple difficulties of Survival mode. Easy has 10 fights and rewards Color3, Normal has 30 and rewards Colors4-6, Hard has 50 and rewards Colors7-10. Going through Easy takes about 3min, Normal takes about 10min, and Hard takes about 35min. If you lose you have to start over from the beginning, no consolation at all. If you want colors you have to do this for each and every character's costume, e.g, must beat all difficulties for Ryu's default costume's colors and then must beat them again for his alternate costume's colors. In Hard Survival, the CPU is favorably reacting to every button you press so if you do lose you feel cheated and angry. I suppose you don't have to play Survival and you can just buy the color packs, which was Capcom's plan from the beginning.

People gave Capcom flak for their previous model of releasing new editions for fighting games so this is their response. Pay for each piece of content that you want or try to "earn" them. As a competitive player it's necessary to have all the characters in the game. For Street Fighter 4 base game plus all editions, that costed me $130 throughout its 7 year lifespan. For Street Fighter 5 base game plus all season passes (at the time of this review there have been three), that has costed me $120 in year 2. I was able to earn a season pass set of characters but will most likely have to buy the rest from here on out. A dollar does not go very far in Street Fighter 5.

As a fan of Street Fighter and other fighting games, I am very disappointed with this game.

Encontré la edición de colección en Amazon a un excelente precio, un poco mejor que el precio de mercado. El envío llegó bien protegido, a tiempo. La edición de colección vale mucho la pena, a un precio accesible. La figura de Ryu es de muy buena calidad, el libro de arte cumple y trae unos bonus más como un sampler del soundtrack del juego y unos cuantos comics, ambos en formato digital.

Lamentablemente el lanzamiento de Street Fighter V deja mucho que desear en cuanto a contenido.

Un número pequeño de personajes, sin embargo a diferencia de otras entregas y de otros juegos de pelea todos los personajes se sienten muy distintos. El roster irá incrementando año con año y estará la opción de comprar los personajes con dinero que se obtiene jugando, sin embargo al parecer será muy difícil poder desbloquear así a todos los personajes, solo el tiempo lo dirá. Lo peor del juego es que en su lanzamiento tiene solo 3 modos de juego, 1 de ellos es una historia para cada personaje sumamente corta que puedes terminar en 5 minutos, se compone de 3 peleas de un solo round. Luego está el modo survival y las peleas online 1 vs 1, es todo. Con el tiempo irán agregando modos con actualizaciones gratuitas, sin embargo tener un juego así de incompleto de inicio es una decepción y es increíble que lo hayan vendido a precio completo.

Killer Instinct hizo algo parecido pero al menos el precio de lanzamiento y el de cada nueva temporada es justo y no lo vendieron a precio completo de inicio porque el juego no estaba completo. Mi recomendación para SFV es que esperen a que actualicen el juego con todo lo que le falta, seguramente para ese momento ya habrá bajado de precio. Ojalá un lanzamiento como este no se repita.

Bueno todos sabemos que la decadencia de street fighter comenzó después de SF3 3rd strike, ya que en el afán de hacer el juego mas "accesible" (léase facil) atontaron la velocidad y ejecución, supongo por lo mismo es muy popular ya que parece un jueguito para niños que no pueden ejecutar bien un combo. La figura es bonita, pero por el peso dobla los postes que tiene dentro de los pies y se deforman a tal grado que ya no se sostiene de pie...

Excelente juego, al principio parecia incompleto pero con las actualizaciones que ha tenido ha mejorado bastante. Me encanta el modo survival. Le falta un modo Arcade. El modo Historia puede llegar a ser tedioso. El modo versus es bastante disfrutable ya sea en linea o local. La figura con la que viene tiene un excelente nivel de detalle. Algunos hubieran querido que la pose fuera el clasico hadouken o el shoryuken pero de cualquier modo está muy bien hecha.

Me gustó el juego, la verdad no lo había comprado antes ya que leí malas reseñas sobre el, compré la edición de colección por la figura, la figura es de muy buen tamaño y está muy detallada, simplemente genial.

El juego el fuerte es el online, pronto estuve jugando partidas en línea y la jugabilidad es muy buena, Street Fighter es el rey de los juegos de pelea, lo recomiendo bastante.

Vale la pena si lo encuentran en un precio bajo como en Amazon
