This is a nice product, but the scent is quite strong and the strong odor stays with your clothing until you wash them. That being said, it is somewhat effective but I find other brands just as effective without the powerful odor, and less oily to apply.

My back gives me a lot of trouble from a bad plane landing during Desert Storm. I have some medication that helps some and then I'll use a product like this Bengay to add a heat sensation to my back when I am playing golf.

The product won't, and is not designed, to cure or fix a back injury problem.

I've tried numerous different products like this Bengay and right now I'll go with this product gives me that heated sensation as well as as any, and better than most.

Long story short, I'd recommend this Bengay product or the Icy Hot. All the others are basically non-effective

This is in my top-five of liniments now. The formula in this "ULTRA STRENGTH BENGAY" with a cream base, is different from most as it contains 30% Methyl Salicylate and 10% Menthol with additional 4% Camphor--strongest formula i've found. The formula is important but the base (Inactive ingredients that the med binds with chemically) can make all the difference in the world as to the effectiveness.

These kinds of products work differently for different people. Check out a few other of my reviews of pain treatment products. What works for some may not work for one. The price is right compared to Rx topical treatments, so, if this works, be happy! About $360 for 12 stick-on pads of "FLECTOR PATCH"

** DON'T CONFUSE this with BENGAY Products containing LIDOCAINE. They are entirely different products and can be effective for some **

Icy Hot Pain Relieving Stick, Extra Strength, 1.75 oz. This is good too.

I am getting a little older and have come to depend on Bengay a lot. It definitely helps with all the aches and pains after working around the house and after exercising a bit. The smell is kind of strong, so I do favor the Vanishing Sent Bengay cream.

I like Equate better and it's more affordable especially if sourced from Walmart, but Bengay is more available worldwide, so i think it's the next best thing to Equate, although Bengay is more expensive especially here in the Philippines where it's sold at a ridiculously high price! Soothes muscle pain and somehow relieves headaches.

Bengay somehow has a strong smell of those like Chinese medicine! But after applying my both legs for 5 consecutive days the pain start to slow down. Well the pain still there but this product help a lot!! Especially at night applying on so it's give more time for muscles to rest ! Love it!

Stuff is amazing. Helped my sore muscles after a long hike. Every night would put it on, and in the morning I was good to go. Has a very strong smell but hey, when your camping anything menthol smells exponentially better than yourself after hiking all day.
