T.L. Cooper's poetry is always filled with raw and pure emotion. Often harsh in its realism, it also can soar with delicate and unexpected nuance as in the poem that may be my personal favorite here, "Broken Doll." There is also the beautifully poignant, "To My Teenage Self," and the hopeful, "Rebirth." This is a collection to be reviewed and reread many times.
