Can his beautiful red-headed attorney prove his innocence? Will they figure out who is trying to frame Matt? Will he ever get his life back?
This is the kind of fiction that I love. Some law elements, medical elements, and a shroud of mystery. The hint of romance didn't hurt either. The story moves quickly and there is that sense of loss when it ends. I wanted to hear more about the future of the characters. This is the first novel I've read like this in the Christian genre. I've always been curious about novels that blend Christian ideals with a criminal storyline. Stress Test did a wonderful job of melding those worlds. Matt must turn to God to find his way out of an overwhelming situation.

"Stress Test" is a fast paced thriller that will keep you guessing. This is a wonderful book showing us how we need to rely on God when we are at our lowest. No matter how bad life may be or who may walk out of our lives, He will always be there for us. I received a complimentary copy of this book to review from Thomas Nelson.
Overall I felt the book was well written and I did not figure out who the bad guy was or why until it was explained. Those were things I liked, along with the story being strong but not gruesome or too scary. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a who-done-it.
Love the twists and turns and above all else the underlying and sometimes overt, Christian message.

All you need to know is that once you start this book, you will not be able to put it down. It's a fast-paced suspense thriller with doctors, lawyers, ER emergencies, some very bad men and a little hint of romance. This is a Christian suspense, but not preachy and I think anyone would enjoy it.
If this is the kind of book you like to read, I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed the mystery and the time of revealing the bad guys. There was a good mix of good and bad.Published 6 months ago by Fran D
A very good story but not as believable as some of Richard Mabry's stories. The antagonists are overdrawn and overdone, but this is still enjoyable reading.Published 16 months ago by readaholic
This was my first time reading Mr. Mabry's work, and in fact, I didn't read it, I listened (books-on-tape). My first time for that, too. Read morePublished 16 months ago by J. Smith
