I should have remembered that before I spent the night with Liam Salinger.
In my defense, he’s stupidly attractive and knows it. He also willingly admitted to me that he never sleeps with the same woman twice.
So I shouldn’t feel too bad about lying to him the next morning. We can forget about each other and get on with our lives, right?
Wrong.
We’ve both been chosen as godparents to my best friend’s gorgeous newborn. Which means we’ll be spending a lot of time together, much to our mutual disgust.
And yes, he looks great cradling a tiny baby against his expensively attired chest. Plus he’s funny, irreverent, and weirdly protective toward me.
But I’m not going to fall for his charm. Not a second time.
I just have to keep telling myself that.

About the author

Carrie Elks writes contemporary romance with a sizzling edge. Her first book, Fix You, has been translated into eight languages and made a surprise appearance on Big Brother in Brazil. Luckily for her, it wasn’t voted out. Carrie lives with her husband, two lovely children and a larger-than-life black pug called Plato. When she isn’t writing or reading, she can be found baking, drinking an occasional (!) glass of wine, or chatting on social media.

And I hope we get to hear more about Myles/Ava and Liam/Sophie in Eli/Mackenzie's book this summer. I would like Liam and Sophie to have their own child maybe twins. But with all the work Sophie has now, I'm afraid it might not happen. But can just see the two big brothers Myles and Liam with their own children on their arms while Linc and Brooke still don't understand what it means to find the perfect woman and want a family of your own with her.
Can't wait to read the next family adventure.
I was waiting patiently for this book. I spent the day before it dropped reading the first one again. I wanted to refresh my mind of all the characters from book one which I thought was developed so well. I feel like I know all the characters. This one is to good to put into words. The first one I gave a perfect 5 stars, this one on a scale of 1 - 5 and I give it an 8 stars.
This book had me hooked on the first couple of pages. I couldn't put it down, it had me hook, !ine and sinker. It was truly mind blowing in places. I had to know what was going to happen next. The story is about two characters Liam and Sophie from book one, who everyone knew they hated each other from the first book.
Have you ever had or seen someone go on and on about a person they don't want to be in the same room with? They continuously do things just to aggravate the other one, you are both friends with someone in the group but the people in the group are tired of the arguing. Now imagine Sophie and Liam waking up together in her bed without wearing clothing and both to drunk to
know what happened or so they say. Sophie wants him out and he isn't moving fast enough at which time she had a memory and starts insulting his manhood. The funnies just keep coming throughout the book. They are stuck being around each other because she is her best friend's sons God mother, problem is he is brother's choice for God father.
That is just a few highlights, the book has lots of laughter, two people who take their careers as most important,
learning what you hear from other people is not always true, that 2 exwives and the current wife can be friends oh and I couldn't help but notice how everyone likes to stay
in your business. I will share one thing I was crying laughing it was so funny but Sophie didn't think so.
She had been out of town and wanted to check on her daddy who had recently had heart surgery. She drives to his
house and all his curtains are closed. She thinks the worst and goes in opening and closing doors and then
there in his bed he is in the middle of having sex, that is a vision that will never
leave her mind. These two books you don't want to miss. If you want romance this is your book.
The story follows Sophie and Liam, two people who wake up together after celebrating a little too hard. While Sophie is attracted to Liam, he's been clear that he is not a relationship guy. So Sophie is almost grateful that they spent the night together, because she doesn't have to worry about him chasing her any longer. Liam also lives out of town, so Sophie will not have to see her best friend's brother-in-law anytime soon. Unfortunately, that all changes when Liam relocates, and he's suddenly back in Sophie's life in a big way. He also doesn't seem to be running scared, and doesn't seem deterred that they've already slept together. Sophie may be off-limits in a variety of ways, but Liam can't seem to make himself stay away. As the two spend more time together, they forge a tentative friendship with the undercurrent of more... after all, what's a little pleasure between friends?
I was a little nervous going into this one, because no strings/friends with benefits relationships are not favorites of mine, so I was pleasantly surprised that this didn't have that kind of vibe for the most part. Liam is the kind of sweet, smitten playboy who is easy to fall for; he's out of his element and trying to figure out how to move forward. I also liked the surprises along the way (no surprise babies, don't worry!), and how they changed the situation between them. This was both tropey fun and also a little unpredictable, which made it perfect for bingeing. It never delves too deep and stays light and sexy the whole way through, which was exactly what I was in the mood for. I also liked that we got some more family moments (but not an overwhelming number of them) to tie the series together and get me excited about future installments featuring Liam's other brothers. All in all, this was just the kind of rom com I was hoping for, so I'm happy to round up to 5 stars.

When Liam and Sophie wake up in bed together they agree to keep their one night stand to themselves, not tell anyone and pretend it never happened. But when they have to spend more time together because of their godson, they start to realise that they are still attracted to each other but they are both wary of getting involved. They both have their reasons for not wanting to get involved but Liam keeps his closely guarded.
I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down. I devoured it from start to finish. It’s beautifully written with a nice balance of amusing, serious and steamy scenes. I loved the chemistry between the Liam and Sophie. I also loved the banter between them. I loved the scenes between Liam and his brothers. Sophie is just the sweetest main character, strong and independent, she isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. Liam is just swoonworthy, gorgeous and I loved how he wooed Sophie, he’s seriously upped the game for my book boyfriends. I’m loving this series and cannot wait to read more from the Salinger brothers.
