I was very excited for this lantern as it was stated to be a "completely sealed, waterproof unit, that will resist everything Mother Nature has to offer". This is not the case. The first time I used it on the river (strapped to my kayak) the light stopped working altogether. After a while it began working intermittently. It was never completely submerged into the water. It was merely hit with rain drops and occasional splashes. I truly hope that I received one of few defective models.

I purchased this for my car camping ventures, it’s compact, waterproof, and has multiple functions making it a great addition to my camping gear. I saw this light for sale at a local feed and farm store and was interested then, but Amazon had more information and a better price.
I like the dual attachment points. When camping I sometimes need a light that shines up, and one that shines down.
I like the moveable reflector array for the same reason.
Having waterproof gear means that I don’t have to worry about using it in the elements.
The small footprint means that I don’t have a large impact on the rest of my gear to bring it along. I haven’t used it to the point of changing batteries, so I am curious how long they will last before needing to be changed.
I’m so far very impressed with this tiny, but might light, and look forward to using it on many many trips.

The light itself is very bright and works well lighting up the shower at night. The light is bright white and throws very evenly. All and all, this is a great light for a great price. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the fact that I have not had it that long.
