First pair worked fine for a couple weeks but the blades ended up separating, rendering them unusable. Because they rivet them together, there is no adjustment screw. Amazon replaced the defective product. Both pairs, however, came with an entirely different handle that looks like the yellow Klein 11045 (see photo). They're not rubber dipped like in the image and are a bit bulkier so keep that in mind before purchasing. The lack of adjustment means I wouldn't use this pair for anything but light duty work.

    You will always find a pair of these as well as Klein’s flush cutters (Klein Tools D275-5 Lightweight Flush Cutter, Up to 16 AWG, Grips Designed for Tool Control and Heat Treated For Durability https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000GTMZHG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RFzeFbTXRJD6J) in my small tool pouch. These are sharp, precise and make stripping very easy. The handles want to be open so when you are done the reset in your hand and you can move quickly to the next wire. A true one handed operation that requires no extra dexterity or movement.

    Despite being so small the over molded handles are comfortable in the hand and do not cause fatigue after long periods of use. The wire gages are easily seen on the stripping head and don’t require any genuflecting or search for light in order to see them. Other products i have, i sometimes feel like they should just put the numbers in Braille as might feel them easier than trying to see them.

    These have also lasted a long time and i like Klein’s color coding of the handles. You know what you are grabbing without much of a glance.

    If you often work with wire so small you almost don't bother stripping the insulation before soldering, or you end up nicking or breaking the wire when you do, these are the strippers to get. For small SOLID wire, they've been flawless so far, all the way down to 28 AWG for me. Even with other strippers rated to wires that small, I've not had as good results as with these. The tip of these are truly excellent for bending small wires, especially around eyelets and soldering lugs, and for 'pre-forming' them for insertion into small holes or other connections.

    Made in USA, with nice cushy handgrips -- really, people complain about these? Try stripping a few hundred wires at a time, _then_ you'll be thankful. :) The only complaint *I* have with them is the riveted joint (even though it IS very well done). I'd prefer a threaded fastener, so I can take them apart, clean the joint, and more easily sharpen the cutting edge. But nevertheless, they're a useful set to have on my bench.
