You just need to make sure the lowest point on the handlebar is outside of the cover. Otherwise, as the handlebar gets wet (it isn't covered by this product) rain will drip to the lowest point and soak your storage compartment and the back of your child's seat, even if it is covered.
I bought this for an upcoming trip to Disney. I don't plan on putting my toddler in the stroller with the cover on. It's really just to keep the stroller dry when it rains. My toddler will have a poncho.
The material is very thick and the stitching and zipper seem high quality.
I don't think the ventilation would be sufficient if you planned on putting it on with a child inside.
I definitely recommend adding a fan or 2 inside if you're going to use it over your toddler- especially during Spring/Summer/Fall. I wouldn't recommend leaving a child in this for more than 20 minutes and definitely would not leave a child unsupervised for any amount of time using this product. It's too thick and the ventilation holes are not sufficient.
I would not recommend it for use over babies at all.
As just a rain cover for your unoccupied stroller, this is great. Be aware that even folded down it's about the size of a 1" binder. The zipper door is hard and not foldable, so that's as small as it gets.
Pros: 1.the cover fits perfectly on my stroller.
2. It has a zip at the front, so I wont need to remove the cover every time I need to get baby out.
3.it fasten around the front wheels, I guess to prevent the wind from blowing/taking it
4. No funky or chemical smell that I read from other product/reviews
5. It retains it shape even without the tray, I have seen pictures of other cover that looked terrible. Like your stroller couldve done better with a shower curtain or a plastic bag. (I hope this wont turn out as one of those.
Cons: 1. The stitching could be finer for it to be a little more sturdy
2. The holes for ventilation is a good thought, but it wasnt executed properly, thus the ventilation only opens halfway at best.
3. There were several puncture near the bottom, I worry it might get bigger in time water can seep into it, so I ordered a replacement and will be returning this just to be sure. (This is probably subjective and just my rotten luck.)
As of now I am unsure of the quality of the plastic material, it is light and pliable but it doesnt feel cheap either.
The net cover that came with this is just net like soft fabric with an elastic sewn on its edge. It doesnt fasten or anything and has no way of securing it at the bottom of my car seat. Pretty pointless and useless to me I guess.
**I have received the replacement and it has even more critical damage than the first one!!! Plastic part on the bottom left corner has a perforation and a small hole. It will surely get bigger with just the use of the zipper, and maybe baby hitting /kicking it from the inside. Because of this I am knocking 2 of my previous 4 star review.
**UPDATE: the forecasted thunderstorm, turned out to be just rain/drizzles. There were no strong winds either to make any conclusive answer to this rain cover's performance. Still unable to conclude if it will leak or if it will be taken up by strong winds. One thing I notice is the opaque plastic developed some holes on a part that doesn't really come in contact to anything. I cant imagine how they got there or they could've been there fresh out of the box and I never noticed. On the plus side this look 10x better than the crumpled mess other parents have. I am unsure if it's me folding it properly after each use or the material is better in general.
***I recently got the pockit + All city and this is too long for that. It keeps on dragging and getting rolled over by the front wheels. So for that stroller, I would suggest the medium.
