E. B. White takes Stuart on a hero's quest across the American countryside, introducing the mouse--and the reader--to a myriad of delightful characters. Little finds himself embroiled in one adventure after another from the excitement of racing sailboats to the unseen horrors of substitute teaching. This is a story of leaving home for the first time, of growing up, and ultimately of discovering oneself. At times, doesn't everyone feel like the sole mouse in a family--and a world--of extremely tall people? (Ages 9 to 12)

I like the concise, warm descriptions.
I recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading for the sake of reading - for the pleasure of experiencing the sights of a talented writer’s imagination.
I chose this recommendation because the time and $ I spent on this book were exceptionally well used.

This book doesn’t have the sentiment and the love that is clearly ever present in the movies and I ended up not liking any of the characters within the book. I didn’t see any of the bond between any of the characters, as there was no relationships developed or clearly established between them.
I wasn’t a fan on the writing or the story and was just hoping that it was going to improve as I continued reading. It was so disappointing.
I would buy this book if you like adventure and curiosity
