Boots or heels: usually go for 8 or 8.5 US
Feet: usually medium. I never buy pointed toes or shoes that are too narrow. my right foot is a little wider in front.
Review is gonna be on SW Lowland [Buff/ Size 8 US]
I had been searching for the perfect over-the-knee boots for at least 5 years.
What I was looking for was a pair of boots that look feminine that don't look cheap, plus narrower calves for my thin legs.
Since a lot of boots in general were way too big on my calves, I kind of gave up on trying for the last few 3 years (cause just by looking at them you know they are about 1.5 times too wide..)
Anyways, I recently just found out about SW's OTK boots and they looked exactly like my dream over-the-knee boots.
I first ordered SW highland in size 8 because most of the reviews said that it runs true to size. The thing about highland boots was that the heels are tall and there's no platform; the boots are also on the narrow size for my med-broad feet. I loved the material and the look of them but they were too tight for my feet and ordering a bigger size probably wouldn't solve the uncomfortablness. So, I returend them (btw, the color 'topo' is so feminine and gorgeous!!!)
I saw Lowland in Buff on sale (around $530 after CA tax) in size 8.
Since these have really low heels, I thought size 8 would be enough. I was kind of right. The length is just right for my feet: not too snug and there's still a bit of space in the toe area. However, compared to 50/50, I heard these were a little narrow and they are pretty narrow for my wider right foot. But still, it's not extremely narrow that my right foot hurts or anything. I don't think sizing up in wouldn't solve the snug feel on my right pinky toe area either (made the 'wide' size 8 would work but there was no option on Amazon).
So, those who have really broad feet, you might have to size up or order the Wide version.
Onto the calves. There's still room and the boots kind of bunch up, but that's my problem. I recently lost more weight and if I can go back to my normal body shape, these would feet like gloves. If you are really skinny and can't find boots that feet, try these. They are warm, comfortable, gorgeous, luxurious, and very well fitted around the calves.
Overall, I am in love with these boots and I wish I can get the black, grey ones in the future! They will make your legs look longer :)
These are just perfect. You don't have to be a model to pull these off. Makes your leg look long and lean. Can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear them
