I read this book in one sitting avoiding the groaning coming from my kids 😂
If your looking for a fiery, hott, sexy, steamy, toe curling read. Stop what you’re doing and read this book now!
This is apart of a combined author series but can be read as a standalone!
Thank you so much Moni for providing me with an advanced copy of your newest book ❤️
Five months ago, I read my first book by this author. It was called Love Delayed in Dublin. It is at the top of my favorite books read in 2020 and instantly made me a fan of Boyce’s writing style. She shares stories that contain likeable characters, intriguing situations and just plain feel good moments that leave me grinning at my screen like a fool. Stuck With You hit on all of those fabulous points.
I admittedly was slightly hesitant when I started this book. I might be a Texas native, but I’m not a fan of country music. This concerned me because one of the leads is a well known country music star. I had nothing to fear because Jack Carter was incredibly charming and won me over quite quickly. I have no doubt that he will dominate many book boyfriend lists. He might be extremely famous, but like all stars he was a real person and that’s what shown through with his actions. The whole premise is he returns home to attend his 10 year HS reunion where he immediately has to face his ex who he left behind the moment fame came calling. The two find themselves unexpectedly sharing a cabin and the angst and tension just leave you flipping the pages anxious for their true feelings to finally surface. It’s the perfect second chance romance set up.
The chemistry between Maddie Grace and Jack was so believable. I felt their shared, troubled history and liked how they were in a familiar setting with family and friends who knew what they once shared together. Their romantic scenes were definitely singe worthy. Add in a stunning setting and it was just the perfect backdrop to watch these two fall for one another all over again. More importantly, I enjoyed the overall theme of regretting certain actions and proving that people can change as they mature. I adored Maddie for standing up for herself and making it known how her dreams were just as important to her even though they didn’t involve stardom.
To top it off, this story ended perfectly with the sweetest epilogue I’ve read. Be prepared to crush hard for this couple.
This book is part of the Holiday Springs Resort series which I’m thrilled about because it was such a fun and wonderful location. Love that each book is written by a different author as well. I’m already interested in book 5 because we were briefly introduce to Tyson in this story and he definitely caught my attention too. I also love the fact that Boyce included a playlist. Every time authors add this extra tidbit and I hear a song one day, I instantly think of their characters and grin.
Madison and Jack were awesome together. They were high school sweet hearts who broke up and went their separate ways to pursue their careers that they may not have accomplished if they stayed together. Sometime you have to go your separate ways and if it’s meant to be you will find your way back to each other. Maddie became an attorney and was trying to make partner and Jack was an accomplished singer.
Maddie and Jack return to their home town for a high school reunion and just so happen to end up in the same cabin. Maddie is livid but Jack seems to be all smiles and neither is willing to give up the cabin. So they both decide to stick it out. It's only a week so would could happy in a week?
It was so sweet how Nat and Kevin who were best friends to Maddie and Jack and were married with 5 children; kept trying to get Jack and Maddie together.
Maddie was really hard on Jack and I understood why. Jack was relentless and never gave up on his Maddie Girl.
I really enjoyed Stuck With You. I have read several books by Moni and I must say I am truly enjoying what I’m reading.
I recommend that you pick up the latest book that Moni Boyce has written “Stuck With You” the title definitely fits the book and pick up her other books while you’re at you will not be disappointed.
I received an ARC from the author and I’m leaving an honest and voluntary review.
