I really love this planner.
Pros:
It is very large, so there is plenty of room to write everything
The colors are bright and vivid throughout
Each month is a different color, so it is easy to find your place
I love the spelling list area
There is a weekly book space
There is a phone + email addresses page in the back
The sides of the book double as a ruler, both metric and imperial
Cute and colorful pictures and tips on every page
The whole planner is 3-hole-punched to fit in a binder
Here are some of the additional pages:
The letters for ASL
Info on each planet
Page with a skeleton and the major bones
Several conversions chart pages, including just about whatever you could think of
Algebra and geometry equation reference pages
Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fraction reference tables
Sample spelling words
English grammar tips and common mistakes
And more.
Roman numerals
Place values
State capitals
There is both a world map, and a bigger map of North America
With all of this information, the planner still manages to be a great size. It's not to big or bulky, but it manages to both be full of information
AND have plenty of space to write!
Cons:
I wish it had a spine. I save homeschool planners, to keep a record of what we did. It is easier to store and refer to planners with spines. Although, I can understand the benefits of it having a spiral binding.
I'm not a big fan of the cover art
Needless to say, I will get next year's version if/when it comes out!
