Watch This! Review For My Studiologic Keyboard
Anita van der Helm

Product Description
The SL88 Studio is the perfect extension of the SL CONTROLLERS line, providing the perfect combination of lightness and power. The user interface is perfect for quick navigation and setup, and also gives you excellent in-depth control. The SL88 Studio adopts the latest hammer action key bed technology from FATAR, giving the best piano touch feeling. TP/100LR is remarkably lighter than any other. Each of the keys provides 3 contacts for superior performance, and the weighted touch guarantees a fluent and authentic feel. With its compact profile, the SL88 Studio is an extremely portable professional controller. Thanks to a perfect integration with the TP/100LR keyboard, it weighs in at a mere 30 pounds. The SL88 Studio is stage and studio ready with a rugged full metal casing. Sculptured end-caps, made of a highly resistant synthetic material, help shield the key bed perfectly and provide a safe grip when handling and transporting. Studio logic is synonymous with high quality MIDI controllers and ground breaking digital pianos, organs, and pedals.

This has been used at several performances and has met the task of rugged stage setup and break downs. No issues with quality at all, for me.
Pros
MIDI Din 2 out and 1 in which can be configured any way you want so that multiple MID controllers with DIN I/O can be daisy chained through this and only use 1 USB input on a laptop to direct all MIDI I/O traffic.
I have adapted to the joystick use very well. I use all three live. They are amazing.
I am not a piano player but a keyboardist and Hammond player. But, honestly, you can play expressive Rhodes and piano patches sweetly on this.
Diverse. What can I say? The 4 zones are extremely powerful for those who are more sophisticated users. Completely and utterly customize-able.
CONS
I have never said this, but I can't really say there are any. That is why these are seriously backordered. Many of us have found this to be an exceptional find.

Update 7/15/17:
I'm starting to believe warranty is non-existent with the company Studiologic. I tried to get the screen repaired as it was still within its 1 year warranty period, but it's been a nightmare. Contacting the company directly will do you no good, they'll just tell you to find an authorized dealer near you. After much back and forth with different numbers and people, I managed to get a person from American Music Supply to give me a list of local repair shops. I sent it in not much after I wrote the first review, and still have yet to receive my unit back. Every time I send in an inquiry, the shop tells me they still haven't gotten the part because they have to manufacture one for me. Avoid Studiologic products unless you want to gamble with your investment.
