Like a massive blimp with a skeletal framework, the Stuhrling Original Men's 206B.33152 Leisure Zeppelin Z2 Automatic Skeleton Watch is a monstrosity in its own right. The humongous timepiece boasts a floating movement in an over-sized case. The unique tonneau-shaped five-piece case is constructed of only the finest 316L surgical-grade stainless steel and has been treated with black ionic plating. And even though it provides an enormous housing for the skeletonized mechanical self-winding movement, you will hardly even know that you are wearing it, as the Zeppelin Z2 is intriguingly comfortable with its anatomical curvature of the case. Of course, with its curved topside and curved case-back, the Zeppelin Z2 is fitted with gigantic custom-cut and curved Krysterna crystals on the front and back. Through the jumbo window on the front is an unobstructed view of the skeletonized and handsomely engraved 20-jewel mechanical automatic movement, Stuhrling caliber 90050. Through the window on the backside, the view is just as spectacular featuring a black ionic plated rotor which itself has been skeletonized and hand-engraved. The Zeppelin Z2 is mounted on a stylish yet durable 24-millimeter wide amply padded genuine leather strap sporting contrast stitching and is completed with a whopping black ionic plated tang buckle. The Zeppelin Z2's five-piece case design is a rare find in watches yet allows for solid protection and visibility of the movement from the front to back.
The Zeppelin Family is part of the Leisure Collection, a select group of timepieces designed to enhance your personal sense of style. They feature large, tonneau-shaped cases and floating movements that give them some of the most unique looks in Stuhrling Original's gallery of watches

The watch is somewhat large, but as expected. I wasn't expecting it to be so thick though, but I like it. It must be a half inch thick. The metal is very shiny, the glass is crystal clear and the mechanisms inside are really nice and well made (I love automatic watches, especially skeletons). The band is real leather and think and stiff and suits the watch. This is a very good price for the quality of the watch... keep in mind I just got it today and it could all fall apart tomorrow... but my initial reaction is like the title says, "wow!"
I'm not a collector per se, but I have a lot of watches. This is my new favorite and I will probably wear it a lot. I'm already somewhat known for having a lot of nice watches, including some more expensive ones, and I know I'll get a lot of comments on this one. It's just so differnt. As you can tell, I'm sold and I'll probably buy several more Stuhrling watches. I was also very surprised that there is a 2 yr international warranty and the warranty cards says they will give you 1 more year of warranty if you post a review on amazon :) very cool!
Only one small thing, like with all skeletons, time can be sometimes hard to read.
5 stars for the watch
0 stars for box.
Again, same box as with my previous stuhrling, box tries to look expensive, but in fact it is cheap, tacky and screams: "I am third class with new paint! I want to look expensive!"
Can I buy my next Stuhrling without box?
value priced watches and this is one of their best!
A great value, and great looking.
Very unique looking with automatic movement
visible from front and back.
This is a very impressive time piece!
And water resistant to 5atm (165 feet)
Automatic movement never needs a battery
Best way to spend $100.
Please note, this really is a HUGE and HEAVY watch. This is what I wanted, but it did take a day or two to get used to the size. Due to the size I bang it into things often, and both the case and crystal show no signs of wear.
Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
As far as drawing the eye, I get compliments on it daily and try to keep my sleeves rolled up as much as possible to show it off. Sometimes I catch myself just staring at all the whirring spinning gears and doodads and need to snap out of it because the light just turned green.
I honestly never thought I would own a watch like this, but that's what makes a great gift, it's something I didn't even know I wanted and now I won't leave home without it!
