Editorial Reviews

STUNT JUNKIES is a fresh, immersive, weekly, half hour series in which the world's best extreme sports athletes, designers, and stunt fabricators execute one unbelievable stunt. It's a show about imagination, daring, intellect and science. STUNT JUNKIES is a backstage pass to the world of the extreme athlete and explains what it takes to pull off a an eye-popping, hair-raising stunt. JD Webb would like to jump over the most prominent icon in downtown Orlando, Florida, the picturesque fountain at Lake Eola. The fountain structure is 35 feet high and the gap distance that JD will be jumping is at least 60 feet wide. This will be longest and highest jump ever attempted on a wakeboard. JD will be towed towards the take off ramp by boat and will continue to hold onto the tow line as he jumps the fountain, making it imperative that he and the boat coordinate their movements exactly. One miscalculation and JD could crash into the fountain or his landing ramp. This stunt will require a great deal of preparation both mentally and physically to successfully execute. To aid in his preparation JD will utilize his custom ramps to practice this jump over open water, increasing the distance between the ramps after each successful jump.
