Editorial Reviews

STUNT JUNKIES is a fresh, immersive, weekly, half hour series in which the world's best extreme sports athletes, designers, and stunt fabricators execute one unbelievable stunt. It's a show about imagination, daring, intellect and science. STUNT JUNKIES is a backstage pass to the world of the extreme athlete and explains what it takes to pull off a an eye-popping, hair-raising stunt. Chad Shetler plans on breaking the world record for the greatest amount of vertical feet ever climbed by a skateboarder doing a wall climb (a quarter pipe that is pushed against a building's wall, so the skateboarder climbs not only the quarter pipe but the building's wall as well). In order to accomplish this record, Chad will be towed behind a motorcycle into a 17 ft. tall quarter pipe that leads onto a 35 ft. tall building. With almost 20ft of wall left to vertically skate, Chad will break the current world record while trying to keep from plunging a disastrous 35ft to the ground. There will be many physical elements involved in this stunt, none more important than the speed Chad will be traveling at when he hits the ramp. Being pulled from behind a motorcycle by fellow stunt junkie, Jeff "Ox" Kargola, we will watch as Chad hits the quarter pipe at a speed upwards of 40 mph. Traveling at such an extreme speed, will Chad be able to control his ascent up the wall or will he lose control and fall nearly three stories?
