Review

As the title implies, Stupid Invaders is not a game that will challenge the more cerebral of gamers. Those familiar with the genre will be happy enough--this is a game that fully deserves the "no-brainer" epithet.

The gameplay is quite simple. Many moons ago, five aliens crash-landed on earth and hid in a deserted house until their spacecraft was repaired. The ship is now ready and it's time to get home, not call home. The gamer has to guide them to their home planet by evading the evil Dr. Sakarine and his henchman.

The game's interface is easy to use, if occasionally inconsistent. What makes Stupid Invaders stand out, however, are the stunning graphics and environment. This may not be the most challenging adventure game ever devised, but it is certainly one of the most entertaining. --Paul Munford -- Amazon.co.uk

Where can I start? Stupid Invaders is a hilarious, fun, and great looking game! The graphics are awesome. Just plain awesome. The humor is good but may get old after a while (potty humor mostly). It's very fun to play too!!! There's one problem. It's really easy to get stuck. It's pretty darn hard!!! Even the game FAQs don't help it gets so hard. If u r willing to put up with the challenge and love puzzle/adventure games this is perfect for u!!! MUST BUY!!!!!

This game is so stupid, you're going to love it. Lots of humor, plenty of gross out factor, & nice graphics work to create a nice adventure game for Sega's last(?) home console. Don't be fooled, though, it is an adventure game & that means thinking is required a little more than in most games. Just an FYI- it's a point & click adventure game where you actually have a pointer & move it instead of the character.

The title of the game pretty much says it all, but not in the way I'd hoped. I bought this hoping for something stupidly funny, brought it home, popped it in, and found myself terribly shocked. The majority of the jokes are quite crude (one of the aliens is a transvestite and gets risque phone calls, there is a pipe-organ in one room in the house and a certain comment is made, etc.) I had to make sure my daughter was elsewhere while playing. The character designs and settings are in places very disturbing/creepy/depressing and the few jokes that actually were funny were too few and too far between to counter-balance this. The puzzles were not challenging, and having to very specifically place your pointer to do things and being unable to skip through certain scenes was incredibly frustrating. Overall I was very disappointed and the only reason I gave it a two is that I did actually finish the game before deciding I never wanted to see it again. I strongly suggest spending your money elsewhere.

This was a great game! The graphics are great and the puzzles are challenging. I wish there were more games of this nature available for the Dreamcast System! Highly recommend!

This game is terrible. It's never really made clear that this is a point and click game and not a platformer until it's too late, and it's not funny either. The visuals are nice I guess but really if that's what you're paying for then just go outside
