About the Author

Lois van Baarle, AKA Loish, is a digital artist, animator, and bestselling 3dtotal Publishing author. Born in the Netherlands, she lived all over the world throughout her childhood, returning to the Netherlands in 2005 to study animation at the Utrecht School of the Arts. Loish has worked as a freelance artist and animator for more than a decade, creating concept art and character designs for animations, games, and toys. She also shares her knowledge of digital art and drawing through workshops, tutorials, live demonstrations, lectures, and books.

She has lived all over the world, including the United States, Indonesia, Belgium and France. She creates colorful, playful artwork with a feminine touch, with Alfonse Mucha as her greatest inspiration.
